The updates have killed the game. The North American servers do not have the population to put 45 people on 1 castle, or 30 people on 1 city. There's just not enough people.

Golden Era units are terrible as well now. Monastic Knights are paper thin. Tercio Arquebusiers are much more inaccurate than the muskets before them, as well as not scaring cavalry as they should.

This was a good game before these "updates." They killed their own game.

Early Access Review
Pit people is a turn-based tactical pokemonesque rpg about positioning and throwing people into the dungeon gathering volunteers to fight for you. There's hundreds of items to collect and missions to do. Almost every unit you see can be captured and put to death the test against people or AI. I personally prefer fighting other people, as of now I have about 1,500 victories in pvp. Although you don't gain experience when fighting players, you do get rewards and more points than you would in the unfair arena if you're working towards gold rankings. If fighting isn't your style, you can always spectate a battle and get rich by watching battles between players. You may even find me in there destroying someones team.

If the game is feeling too easy for you, you can turn on the insane difficulty and enable permadeath and bring your sacrifices warriors into the pit.
