Review Showcase
792 Hours played
I decided to make this review only after the ICO(Infantry Combat Overhaul) was released.
And even if I played it for less than 24 hours, the gameplay impressed me nonetheless.

Anyway, here's a proper review of the game, not the whole 'review bombing' mumbo jumbo from the disgruntled:
While I do miss the nimbleness of pre-v6.0 Squad, I do appreciate the efforts made to make sure that the game turns to a more team-centered match, rather than going full Rambo on a whole Squad.
However
I have a couple of pet peeves on this new gameplay, specifically TTADS(Time to ADS) and the Weapon Sway.
The new PIP(Picture-in-Picture) does convince you to focus on a single area, rather than going snappy on the aim.
That doesn't mean you can't get snappy. If you scan the area before ADS, you can have an overall good reaction time on the targets.
The time to get to ADS, however, requires a little bit of tuning, as it looks like hipfire has turned more chaotic and unreliable. Perhaps reducing the ADS by a few seconds can be a good improvement.
Another problem is the weapon sway. While it can be fixed by standing still, it can be really hard if you're in a firefight. And it gets incredibly worse if you're a LAT/HAT engaging an armored vehicle.
In my opinion, a good fix would be to have a reduced time to stabilize on crouch, rather than the prone position.
The 'standing to prone' switch to stabilise aim faster doesn't seem the proper way to start engagement on an enemy team, compared to a 'standing to crouching' one.

In conclusion,

Game is really well done. Little bit more polishing with future patches around the ADS system.
Beyond that, I look forward for future contents on the game. Possibly more BLUFOR/OPFOR/Independent factions to be added to the game.

EDIT v6.0.1: It turns out that right after I posted my review, OWI made a quick patch concerning some of what I mentioned above, specifically on the TTADS and Weapon Sway.
With this patch, they reduced the heavy sway, as well improving ADS time for ironsights and reflex.
I say it's a good progress. Beyond that, there's still fixing to the cycling of position and ready-to-fire gameplay.
Still, though. Worth to try out the game with the newly introduced ICO.
