Even better than the first. And that's saying something. If melee were better and weapons were easier to upgrade, this would be about as perfect of a game and experience as possible.

As good as it gets. I can't think of a story with more allegorical importance.

This is a very fun game with the potential to be much better. That's why I gotta say it's a "no" for me right now. I played it 124 hours still, so that shows you it must be worth something. But there are a couple glaring problems that need fixed. The first is the tutorial is lacking, especially when it comes to the social stuff like government and settlements. We didn't even realize that was a component until it was too late, maybe 60 hours into the game. That leads to the main problem, which is there need to be better dynamics for small groups. This game is clearly meant to be played with more than a few people. That runs into a problem given this is an early access indie game. Therefore the game will never reach the steady number of players required to make it work. There needs to be some level of better scaling for few players vs. many.

P.S. Grievance. Make some creative achievements. Stuff like tastiest and most-hated food was fun. Stuff like get 5 culture, then 10 culture, and so on. That's not fun. The game can be played entirely without culture so it's ridiculous to make so many achievements for something the community doesn't like.

While this game looks great and has some fun moments, the progression is unclear and the story is lackluster. The ending is quite disappointing. If you're going to play this, please look up a guide in advance as this game isn't remotely intuitive and will send you backtracking constantly.

Boring. A budget No Man's Sky with about 1/100th of what that game has to offer.

A better version of the first. Additional co-op spot is nice.

Best free-to-play game out there.

This game was really fun until you get to the end game, in which case the difficulty and play style change at the drop of a dime. It felt like everything we did leading up til the end was a waste of time because the endgame was so unsatisfying. The fight mechanics are horrible. I can say that as a veteran of games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Remnant, etc. Those games, the bosses were fun because they were challenging but beatable. This game, the bosses are poorly designed and absolutely asinine. This game is free, so I guess it's worth it to mess around some. But don't expect too much because these devs dropped the ball completely with end game.

If you want a harder version of Pokemon that you can play on Steam/PC...this is for you. Definitely some improvements over Pokemon. Downside is some things are a bit grindy.

I almost didn't play this because it doesn't have turn-based mode. That would have been such a mistake! I enjoyed this as much if not more than games like Kingmaker and Divinity 2.
