Edit 24th July 2023:
Some weeks before this updated review LavaFlame2 release a new pet system in an update.
This pet system is basically a gacha where free players have one roll per week, or otherwise you can spend about 3$ per each additional roll.

Free players on average should roll 535 weeks (~7.6 years) to get around 99% in order to get the last pet, and obviously, the strongest one. (You can also spend about 1500$ to get the same chances).

The last and the most important pet is basically a game changer.
While you could argue that you can still play F2P and ignore this mechanic, being a 'MMO' and seeing other players with this pet makes you constantly think about this.

Also it is clear that the developer since its previous game (Idle skilling), has been making the gem packs or offers more expensive each time. I wouldn't mind a small increase due to inflation, better product, etc, but it started from 5$ and now each pack is either 20 or 25.

Not gonna lie, Lava is a good developer. I still think he has a unique product with a lot of features and I will probably keep playing, but, with the time it seems as if he is getting more and more disconnected with its community.
Each time he has made a decission that is not well received by the community it usually ends with bans to endgame players who have been playing the game the longest, and know a lot about its mechanics and usually they are who complain the most.

The final TLDR, if you are a new player and you love spending money to receive dopamine, probably this game will get better at it, and if not I think there are a lot of other games to give them a try over this.
