Without a doubt, one of the standout features of this game is its great historical accuracy. From the military technology to the political landscape, Hearts of Iron IV captures every single detail that leads to and takes place during both WWI and WWII. The level of historical detail in the game is excellent, providing an immersive experience for players navigating through an intricate global conflict.

The game has a large number of countries to choose from that have various national focuses and strategic considerations. Whether you are leading the almighty Soviet Union, the German Reich, or some small nation seeking to alter history’s path, you will find interesting things with each play through because of the many countries available for play.

Hearts of Iron IV gameplay is intricate yet rewarding. It demands attention to military, economic, and political matters, where players have to manage resources, plan offensives strategically, and engage in diplomatic manoeuvres. Detailed control over military operations comes into play due to the intricate planning system for battles: assigning divisions and coordinating air support.

This aspect has been key in keeping interest in the game high as it continues to be developed further by its modding community. There is a wide range of player-created mods supported by Hearts of Iron IV, including alternative scenarios in history up to total conversions.

If strategy games are your thing, then Sid Meier's Civilization VI is an absolute phenomena. The game is a perfect cocktail of strategy, historical depth and imagination. You have to lead a civilization throughout the ages. From how to win a war, to how to progress science or culture; the strategic options are limitless.

The stand out feature of CIV VI has to be the number of different ways to play the game. If you are an expansionist militarist, or a peaceful builder who won in a culture-dominated race, or even a diplomatic strategist – there is a route for you. Every civ has its own capabilities and units which makes every approach unique.

The graphics is great, with a new bright and colourful style compared to old versions. The likeliness of the world is astonishing because the maps are very artistic, and the cities are teeming with life. At certain levels, it becomes easy to forget the world you are in as you concentrate on the details of your cities, armies and various wonders you have built.

The new district system is also a fun twist, as it makes planning how a city will look and function a more entertaining part of the game. It is interesting to consider how to organize areas such as science or entertainment centers in order for them to function properly which adds another level when taking care of the city.

The only bad thing I can think of is that the game can at some points be badly intimidating and feel overwhelming for new players. You have to learn the game in order to enjoy it, just like other strategy games like Hearts of Iron or Europa Universalis.
