Certainly a good game concept, nice art style, but it is clear all the real love is within the combat itself

That being said, even it has faults such as severe balancing issues. Plenty of weapons become useless in later stages, some are consistent, and others magically seem to turn into mini deathstars in your hand. Add the various random character factors you'll be able to build with you can become so broken nothing could hope to stop you, or waste your time trying to force dog feces out of a cat

I also absolutely support indie devs where I can, but whether or not the DLC is worth the price is questionable, especially given the rather limited content contained within them. While on the cheaper end, the studio seems quite quick to pick up new projects, neglecting ones they've already pushed out. This wouldn't be so bad if the DLC they sold had more meat to chew. I'd take caution jumping the gun, but I sincerely hope they stay with this game longer than other titles.

Brilliant co-op, looter shooter elements are appealing, and death is rather forgiving. The perks could use a touch up, but they are nevertheless fun to play with. I actually hope they experiment with it more as it blends well with the normal gameplay

I think the maps are a bit repetitive, as limiter as they are, but the rest of the gameplay more than makes up for this.

Overall good game. If you like fast dungeon crawling, differing levels in difficulty, as well as rougelike elements, you'll probably love this game. If you found RoR2 particularly harsh, this may be a great second option for you

Rat Exterminator Simulator

I would seriously love to see these skulls stay, or at least be thrown into the Chaos Wastes. Trying to maintain what I imagine a cocaine addiction feels like is both extremely stressful and spectacularly lethal at the same time. I feel like a speed demon that needs to kill or collect skulls to evade death, but the second it gets slow I feel like I'm dying.

10/10 Blood for the Blood God

As I've been playing this game again in light of having a great hunting partner, I've decided to take a more laid back approach to playing as opposed to rushing through content as I did on my Playstation.

Perhaps a bit slow still, I've found the hunting monsters still holds up extremely well these years later. The graphics are beautiful, the combat is satisfying even if using a keyboard sucks sometimes as it always has, and Icebornce being as huge as it is has made sure that I'll be sticking around even once I finish it again.

With Wilds on the way, I can only imagine that anything continued from these inspirations will be legendary. My only real issue is the guild system being utter garbage, I hope this changes in the next title.

Was pretty awesome the one time I could play, though this game doesn't agree with my connection any so I can't really play it. Still would recommend

This is one of the best games I have ever played.

If you're burnt out from all the PVP FPS games, this is exactly the perfect thing for you. Its got nasty alien vermin, drunken dwarves as rude and loud as your mother, and enough precious minerals to keep you coming back. With many bugs, biomes, and all kinds of different missions, fun never runs out. (Especially not after a few blackouts and a Haz 5)

I cannot empathize enough the excellence in sound and music design. Whether I mine gold and feel the same dope shot I got from collecting jewels in Spyro, or hear the music of loneliness and fear given audible form across a synthetic cry, I am overjoyed every second I spend on Hoxxes. Nothing quite soothes the ears as a melting glyphid dissolving into a screaming mush.

Like character customization? Cosmetics come a credit a dozen, by the time you finally exhaust all that coin buying everything there will be more content in no time. Don't worry, this applies to your guns, pickaxe, and Bosco too!

Don't have friends? Don't need 'em, Bosco has your arse covered. He's mean, he's a machine, and he's got a friendly salute waiting for you right before he tears the foe apart, no extras necessary. He's got you and those minerals covered!

Brag about your prestige with those snazzy level borders, and with plenty of levels to grind you'll certainly have a fun time getting to your diamond days.

And who could miss the crazy amount of gunplay? Customize your guns with stat changing modifications, slap an overclock right on, and use each and every combination to murder glyphids in new ways. Just don't tell management, some war crimes are better left undocumented.

Visit Lloyd and grab yourself a beer before all those missions waiting for you, by the time you're finished drinking up you'll be killing like Karl in no time! (Or more than likely you'll be stuck in the medbay trying not to vomit again.)

Incredible modeling program, but can be complex to get into without help. I highly recommend starting with Blender Guru's videos if you want to begin to comprehend how to use it for just that.

This tool is capable of more too, like animation, photo editing, scripting, and so much more, though I personally don't need it for all that. Way more than what may first meet the unobservant eye.

If you try to trial and error this, you are very likely to fail to do whatever it is you desire, so please do not skip your Google Fu sessions or you may be scared off. It's actually fairly easy to use, you just need to mostly remember the hotkeys to everything which is the most difficult part.

Whether you are looking for new skills to acquire, play God, or desire to make video games, Blender is an absolutely golden resource for anyone. Even if you don't want to do any of that, you can have fun misshaping everything you desire. It's open source too, so feel free to mess with it as much as you like, no one can stop you.

And to my friends who may find this, if you are feeling discouraged because you didn't see immediate progress, remember that baby steps lead to bigger things down the road. We'll all get there with practice. Even if you make ♥♥♥♥, you still made that ♥♥♥♥. It's your ♥♥♥♥, and that is more than what you had before.
