It is hard for me to recommend this but I will since its the dev first game and it is interesting as long as you don't expect anything revolutionary and enjoy indie projects.

main problem I feel like i cant understand why I get attacked at night and why I don't, I didn't see a explanation to why or why not to shine the light at all times and when not too. The game was interesting for the right person but I don't think it is for me. I enjoyed the graphics of the game and find it pretty but do understand why a lot of people may be turned off by them.

For 15 dollars, that is extremely steep, for the 75% off, so just below $4, I think it could be worth your time as long as you don't have high expectations and love indie projects.

If you love the souls like genre and have never played DS3 then you are severely missing out and need to experience the masterpiece of this game.

Only downside was achievement hunting this game, was a super pain. But still enjoyed playing through this game the 4 new game pluses it took me to finish the achievements.

Now I am off to playing the seemless co-op mod and the cinders mod for the continued content of the amazing foundation this game creates.

Thanks Jaren for the 4 years it took you to convince me to play it lol

Actually well made. Bit Jank but I love that about games like this. Can be scary at times and made me yell.
was surprised when it had a skill tree and also pleasantly surprised how its implemented and doesnt make you overpowered every run.
Overall, a lot of fun especially if you got like 2 or more friends to get together with.

Company for the longest time stopped caring about making a good game and only how to make profit, keeps looking like every big company only cares to make the money and no longer how to make a unique and fun experience.

I am touching triple A games less and less and it's been so much more enjoyable

I loved this story alot, but only when you start getting close to the end of the game. The game can feel like a bit of a drag if you don't like the looting and the feeling of confusion for most of your play-through, For me I enjoyed it but it did make it hard at times to continue but I knew I wanted to finish the game and I am so glad I did, I really like the amount this game tries to make you think with what your character is going through and the other characters you decide to work with and their personal history and grudges and how your actions will need to make compromises with each of them to make sure they don't leave you. But the twist of how you use the chernobylite once you have things start connecting was such a interesting surprise for me and I really appreciate the uniqueness of what this game brings if you can stick out till the end and appreciate the journey of the story, the gameplay is nothing special but I didnt mind it, others find it too boring or repetitive but I continued with the full focus of learning the story.

All in all, Great story if you have the patience to see it through

Did not expect this game to be as good as it is, yes it is a bit clunky at times but that is part of the charm of the game.

The game is very fun playing through if you have played their other titles and are wanting to see where things really started for them, you see all the building blocks and the start of more in-depth mechanics that they incorporate in their later titles and seeing those made me enjoy the game in only a way that someone playing for the first time but having played their more thought out games comes from.

Overall, I love this game and never would have expected how much there was in this game before trying it.

Game is fun to me, and I really like it but the fact that my save is corrupted and every time I close the game I start at level 4 has gotten to the point I am very frustrated. When finally caving in and deleting the save file, it comes back, over and over, going into the files and manually deleting the save, still comes back. All im trying to do is play the game and continue with my progress, it shows my character when I return to the menu but if I close the game then I return to level 4.

Also, making new saves just delete themselves when restarted. Can only play old save and it doesn't save from the point I am at.

Edit. Even turned off cloud save which was assumed to be the problem and made a new world and character, did 2 missions and tested it, open the game and i have no saves again. for some reason my game doesn't want to keep the save when I fully close the game, but will keep the save when I return to menu

Amazing game with great updates and continued support after all these years.
