Probably my favorite co-op fps of all time. I regularly come back to this game every year since I got it in 2019. Great fun with friends mechanics are simple and compelling. After all the content that has been added with seasons there is always something fresh around the next corner to keep your interest.

The game is best with friends but I've had good luck with random parties in this game as well.

It can feel like a bit of a grind getting your first wave of unlocks for a class but after you get those you feel pretty helpful to your team. The game can feel a little samey after a while even with the new updates but it takes much longer for me to lose interest these days. It's good for at least a few weeks of fun each year.

The seasons are completely free, you can't even pay for a "premium track" on the season like most games. And everything in the season is cosmetic you will never be at a disadvantage because you didn't grind a season. Very refreshing. If you want to support the game more there are some Cosmetics that are cash only.
