As much as I'd like to give it a thumbs up to play, sadly the price I paid for the game makes the experience not as worthy to recommend to others at its current price.
It's an amazing game, you'll really get sucked into the world with the atmosphere the developers have created. The cat is super cute, it was really heart-warming to see the cat interacting with the environment. The cameras will nod if you meow at them! I thought that was a nice touch. The story is simple, and you get right to the point without a whole lot of detours. The whole experience was nicely crafted, it'll keep you engaged and entertained with its straightforward premise and easy to follow narrative. But the whole experience for me lasted 4+ hours. There is not much replay value, you can't customize your cat, there is no multiplayer features, and most of the experiences are linear. It's a straight path up without any branching paths. You could get a large fraction of the experience through watching others play it for the first time. It was a refreshing experience but I cannot recommend buying it for $30, If i were to put a price on Stray I'd put it at a third of its price.

Just finished ending A. Hearing about ending B from other players makes me wonder. How am I gonna survive the brutal blood-gorging life-ending soul-stealing infernal catastrophic unholy draconic permanent defilement of my mind and a** that is the rest of the game's endings?

As much as I loved this game, I couldn't bring myself to finish the game because I had an idea of what was coming. Finally, ever since I bought this game near release I was able to finish it. 5 years..
The weight of the world is very heavy ;-;
