I reached complete global saturation and bought the competition and shuttered them (terrible for the gaming market, great for my bottom line)

But that was on the early difficulty, and I don't know if I "won," and things felt a little directionless around then.

As it stands, should the dev continue to put passion into the updates, this is a great investment and a fantastic successor to Game Dev Tycoon.

This part's for the dev
Diversify the "named" employees, hiring Gabe Newell, Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa and they're all 5 star writers, code monkeys, and art/sound team members is a bit silly.
Named Producers, the Geoff Keighley marketing machine, put in Darren Korb and River Boy as guys, I just love their OST's.

I had 40 employees that all excel at everything and have no drawbacks, which is fine, but... idk some of these people were working for me for decades, never once took a sick day, never once tried to negotiate. Also had no indication that they would ever leave or die.
Maybe they respect that the initial dev who one guy'd the startup 40 years ago is still taking pennies for a paycheck so much.

Local mic audio means I can call my opponent a "yellow-bellied toe-sucker," when they shoot me from a random window, have all the doors covered in barbed wire, and I don't want to peek anymore.

Mix sneaking, drawn-out gunfights, explosions, and weirdly, melee viability.
Time to kill in 1v1s is either 5 minutes of two a-holes whiffing while playing hide-and-seek or getting insta'd.
Which in terms of risk/reward means PvP is almost always an inconvenience at best.
Unless you're playing quick play, then everyone has to die.

Biggest downside is probably something like:
Traits being locked behind progression favors older players.
Bit of a meme to even bother trying to play the main gametype before level 17(after 11, when your character can actually die).
Find out what the meta guns are on reddit or something and grind out quick play(no consequences battle royale) until you have better hipfire. Trust me.

Interesting balancing in choosing to even do the boss fights: broadcast your location, defend the boss room, and try to exit.
Alternatively, let somebody else hunt the boss, and hunt them.
Or chill out and do a little zombie exterminating to level your character.

solo'd an Assassin with a sledgehammer and walked out without ever seeing a person (i think they all died fighting over the other target)
