I'll have to downvote this because of the LONGNESS of the first two challenges, either you encourage to replay or you make it utterly painful, sheesh.
The characters, the idea and the mystery are pretty decent tho.

Funny as hell, good to pass the time.

This could be an amazing game, I really like the concept and playability. Unfortunately, its far from working properly. laggy, buggy, I couldn't play a single proper match. Before u ask, my pc is pretty much above the minimum requirements.

quick edit: nerf those NPCs FFS they're stronger/smarter than actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skilled players.

This game here is a cute lil gem for a great price.
Gorgeous art and flowy writing, my favorite part is that you actually have to think and pay attention in order to take optimal decisions.
All of that in one hour.

I'm always angry at this game

As long as you wait for the sale, this one is worth it. :)
(It can be sad, tho.)

I wish I could choose a "neutral" recommendation but I can't, so let me tell you why I choose to not recommend.

What I did like:

-Having multiple possibilities depending on my capacity of reading Abbey's personality.
-The game actually rewards you for paying attention.
(Example? There's a moment that his thought gives you a piece of information that's useful in a choice you have to make later)
-Decent branching of dialogue.
-Decent writing.
-Noticeably made with care.
-Some nice music.
-How Abbey's change of facial expression always looks suitable.


Neutral thoughts:

-Too much music with vocals, it can be quite distracting/messy when playing a heavy text game.
-I don't like Abigail as a person, she's unfair and a pain in the ass.


What I didn't like:

-Messing the date in the beginning "changes the story", I mean suddenly if you're not so cool in the first moments Rachel tells you to ♥♥♥♥ off and you do. She says that Abbey likes the guy she's talking to, something that in other branches is a lie. Of course, that can just be Rachel's way of saving Abbey some time, still, kinda unsettling.
-There's something about the music changing with the conversation that sets me off a little but I can't easily point the reason. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's just weird when you're having a conversation with someone in a bar and suddenly the jukebox decides that it's a good idea to start matching the mood of your conversation, kinda creepy right?


And the reason for the thumbs down (spoiler of only one of the possibilities):

-If you play your cards in a certain way you get a threesome, what makes me think: Rachel and Abbey are FWB, she assumes that this is okay with you and basically sets you up for a threesome without asking you first and says something like "if that's okay with you" (which is hella manipulative since saying "no" to this can easily make a guy feel less of a man AND play with his FOMO, as she can just not want him anymore if he says no). If Rachel was a male it'd be CREEPY, If you swap all the genders it'd be ***CREEPY AS ♥♥♥♥***, not to mention it takes out some of the game personality.

Just don't play it solo m'kay
