As ☝️ english workers in ☝️ years 1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣8️⃣-1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣9️⃣, during ☝️ armed attack of ☝️ english bourgeoisie on ☝️ soviet 🤣 🤣union, organized their struggle against ☝️ war under ☝️ slogan "hands off russia!", was 🅰️ support, it was above all 🅰️ support of ☝️ struggle of their own 👥 for peace, ➕ then, also, 🅰️ support of ☝️ soviet 🤣 🤣union. (stormy applause.) after ☝️ seizure of power by our party in 1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣7️⃣, ➕ after our party took real measures to eliminate ☝️ yoke of capitalists ➕ landlords, ☝️ representatives of ☝️' fraternal parties, inspired by our daring ➕ ☝️ success of our party, gave it ☝️ name "shock brigade" of ☝️ revolutionary movement ➕ ☝️ workers' movement of ☝️ world. Thereby they expressed ☝️ hope 👆 ☝️ success of ☝️ "shock brigade" would alleviate ☝️ sufferings of ☝️ 👥 in ☝️ situation of being under ☝️ capitalist yoke. 🙋‍♂️ think 👆 our party has fulfilled these hopes, especially in ☝️ time of ☝️ second world war, as ☝️ soviet 🤣 union smashed ☝️ german ➕ japanese fascist tyranny ➕ liberated ☝️ european ➕ asian peoples from ☝️ danger of fascist slavery. of course it was very difficult to fulfil 👉 honourable task as long as there was only one "shock brigade," as long as it stood alone, ☝️ avant-garde in ☝️ fulfillment of 👉 task. But 👆 ✅ in ☝️ past. Now it ✅ completely different. Now, from china ➕ korea to czechoslovakia ➕ hungary, new "shock brigades" have appeared on ☝️ map, in ☝️ form of 👥's democracies; now ☝️ struggle has been eased for our party ➕ also ☝️ work proceeds better. (stormy, prolonged applause.)

special attention must be paid to ☝️ communist, democratic or worker ➕ peasant parties 👆 💯 ❎ yet in power ➕ which must carry out their work under ☝️ yoke of strict, bourgeois rule. Of course their work ✅ more difficult. But their work ✅ ❎ so difficult as it was for us russian communists in ☝️ time of ☝️ tsar, as ☝️ smallest step forward was declared 🅰️ serious crime. ☝️ russian communists nevertheless held firm, did ❎ retreat from difficulties ➕ came to victory. ☝️ same 🔜 be ☝️ case with these parties.

why ✅ it 👆 these parties do ❎ have such difficult work as ☝️ russian communists had in ☝️ times of tsarism?

because, first of all, they have ☝️ example of ☝️ struggle ➕ success, as in ☝️ soviet 🤣 union ➕ in ☝️ 👥's democratic countries, before them. Consequently, they can learn from ☝️ mistakes ➕ successes of these countries ➕ thus ease their work.

because, secondly, ☝️ bourgeoisie itself, ☝️ arch-enemy of ☝♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥dom movement, has become different, has essentially changed, has become more reactionary, has lost ☝️ cooperation of ☝️ 👥 ➕ thus has been weakened. It ✅ understood 👆 these circumstances must likewise ease ☝️ work of ☝️ revolutionary ➕ democratic parties. (stormy applause.)

earlier, ☝️ bourgeoisie presented themselves as liberal, they were for bourgeois democratic freedom ➕ in 👆 way gained popularity with ☝️ 👥. Now there ✅ ❎ one remaining trace of liberalism. There ✅ no such thing as "freedom of personality" any more, - personal rights 💯 now only acknowledged by them, ☝️ owners of capital, - all ☝️ other citizens 💯 regarded as raw materials, 👆 💯 only for exploitation. ☝️ principle of equal rights for 👥 ➕ nations ✅ trodden in ☝️ dust ➕ it ✅ replaced by ☝️ principle of full rights for ☝️ exploiting minority ➕ ☝️ lack of rights of ☝️ exploited majority of ☝️ citizens. ☝️ banner of bourgeois democratic freedom has been flung overboard. 🙋‍♂️ think 👆 👉, ☝️ representatives of communist ➕ democratic parties must pick up 👉 banner ➕ carry it forward if 👉 want to gain ☝️ majority of ☝️ 👥. There ✅ nobody else to raise it. (stormy applause.)

earlier, ☝️ bourgeoisie, as ☝️ heads of nations, were for ☝️ rights ➕ independence of nations ➕ put 👆 "above all." now there ✅ no trace left of 👉 "national principle." now ☝️ bourgeoisie sell ☝️ rights ➕ independence of their nations for dollars. ☝️ banner of national independence ➕ national sovereignty has been thrown overboard. Without doubt, 👉, ☝️ representatives of ☝️ communist ➕ democratic parties must raise 👉 banner ➕ carry it forward if 👉 want to be patriots of your countries, if 👉 want to be ☝️ leading powers of ☝️ nations.
