The game seems to be getting a lot of negative reviews from people who played the game for 1 second and drop it because of the monetization system which is quite unfair. Because you can get in the top rankings very easily without any money spent and it's absolutely doable to be top 5 without ever spending a dime. But all the veteran 1 second played reviewers were not able to muster up another second to realize that.

Very cool game. It has a very active developer who listens closely to feedback by joining the game chat or reading everything on Discord.

This is more of a semi-idle game, so there's no full idle options but that's the idea of the game. You can play 100% active or semi idle. Active play is definitely most rewarding in terms of progress.

The game takes the best aspects of all the classic hack n slash rpgs like Diablo and Poe and even improves on them here and there while still managing to have a unique game.

The graphics are quite unique but also simple but that's fine, we are not here for that necessarily.
All in all a unique game with a lot of potential.

So many "just one more" and suddenly 12.8 hours were past.

Rust is an endless cycle of farming ♥♥♥♥ to build something, then getting raided by 15 year old's with no respect and no life. Then you log out and you get raided and you farmed everything for someone else. You log back in and start over.. you log out and get raided, you log back in and start over, you log out and get raided. etc etc

Essentially you are a farmer for the one 1 clan on the server with the most 15 year old's that have no life and this just keeps going and going. It's a colossal waste of time because it serves no purpose. I can see why this game is so well liked, not by me though.

I've played this game a few hours.. it's pretty good..

Great little tug of war.. bought it on sale for 50 cents.. but its worth the 5 bucks for sure as well.

Seems to be pretty balanced already.

this is so godamn annoying, all you do in this game is load.

- Get an invite to a heist - join it - LOADING LOADING LOADING - it's full! quit it ! - LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING

- Get in invite for a mission - Join it, players are using different targeting, would u like to use it? accept - LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING - it's ♥♥♥♥ing full would u like to quit - LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING

- Invite for a setup - join it - players are in an active mission would u like to spectate HELL NO, quit it - LOADING LOADING LOADING LOADING

30 minutes later I've still not done a single ♥♥♥♥ing thing but LOADING!

To use one of the quotes for this game as a reference: "Contagion is a gory, addictive horror game that’s well worth its $20 price tag"
