Maybe it gets better after a few hours, but save yourself some money and buy something else.

Haven't played it all the way through yet, but so far this is really, really good.
There are new ways to solve puzzles, sometimes even (roughly) the same puzzles as in the original games!
...which you then have to solve with one portal less, for example. Good luck.
New approaches, new elements, showers, human robots, and different coloured portals: it has it all!
Anyone who has played Portal 1&2 should try this.

Design: simple
Gameplay: simple
Learning curve: simple
Time per game: few minutes
Campaign time: few hours
RNG: Much
Fun factor: mostly relaxing
Mod support: simple, but the mod selection menu is too simple and therefore annoying

All in all a pretty nice game to play whenever you have a moment, as games are fairly short.
Depending on your luck the current campaign can be completed in about 8 hours.

For a free game it sure soaks a lot of time. It's a clicker at the start, transforms into an idle game later on. Has a lot of upgrades and achievement and varying strategies which need to be applied and just an overall lot of playability and variation. Which of course you are encouraged to explore.
My real time in this is much higher, as I don't always play on Steam but also in the browser or on mobile. Recommended for sure!

Looks great and promising! ...until you play it.
Aside from some explanation as to what potatoes are and what research does, all other functionality you have to discover yourself. The worst part however is that the upgrades get more expensive exponentionally, meaning that after a few minutes of playing it doesn't even feel like your clicks are worth anything anymore. And at that point the game has just barely started! It just starts to feel like an idle game you have to check once a day. ...after a few minutes of playing, mind you. I cannot imagine how many years one would have to wait for more expensive upgrades.

Anyone must play this game. There is too much awesomeness in it to describe.
Plot: You are in the matrix.
Summary: Everything is a delusion, but don't let that stop you living the dream.
