It's been a very long time since a game has made me smile ear to ear the whole way through and made me feel like a precocious child again--petting animals and pranking NPC's with my psychic powers just to see their hilarious reactions. IMO, the game's length is perfect too--no grinding, loot boxes or other artificial means of padding out your gameplay. Amazing story, charming characters, just overall solid experience you can enjoy in a weekend. There's a deep respect from the devs for the tried-and-true, player-friendly game-design values that make physical copies of any game worth collecting and treasuring forever.

Glitch galore but nothing I'm not used to when it comes to free indie games.

Charming little visual novel with cute jokes and references to both the sonic franchise and murder mystery tropes. A fun way for SEGA to advertise their IP and at 1-2 hrs to beat, it doesn't overstay its welcome. I enjoyed it.

It's a close competition, but I think I got more meaningful motivation from the Just Do It meme. It's a free personality quiz, and people like those, I guess.

buy this game, it's fun, it has the x-men and this was before marvel studios took over every marvel game and decreed everything to be only MCU-friendly (and took the x-men away).. It doesn't feel as corporate as marvel games today and some parts of it does feel like a celebration of marvel comics' legacy.

I don't usually enjoy most cheap games I buy, so this sale I wanted to play it safe and only get the classics. But the screenshots alone was enough to pique my interest and boy, was I glad I took a chance on this game. It's absolutely gorgeous and the developers' passion for dungeon crawlers just oozes out of its every pore. The character dialogues are so colorful and dynamic that I swear I could hear grade-A voice acting. The combat animations are some of the most creative and fun I've ever seen that I don't think I'll ever tire of watching them. The environments are unexpectedly beautiful and well-detailed. This game made me look UP just to admire their ceilings--I've never done that in a crawler! And the music is nice, smooth and blends right in (and I wouldn't mute it for a podcast, which I usually do with these type of games.) And it gets proper challenging and complex--but always at my own pace so it never feels unfair.
So, yeah! Pleasantly surprising and surprisingly pleasant game. Buy it! And I can't wait to see what other projects the devs have in store :D

Very, good and engaging story. You can complete in the game in like, 4 hours tho. The walking section in chapter 3 kinda ruined the vibe for me. I kinda wish they had stuck with the text-based adventure thing throughout the whole game. Especially since, once they brought it back for the final act, I've already forgotten how to navigate a text-based world. Kinda grounded the climax to a halt. Fantastic resolution, tho, even if the reveal may feel trope-y for some. Flies by too fast for my liking. If i had bought this full price, I might have seriously considered a re-fund. But since it's on sale, yeah, absolutely go for it. It may be short, but it's a worthwhile experience to have.

Combine this DLC with the Superhero pack and you get to start the game with phoenix, odin, and malekith to get all the collectibles that need psychics, fire users, electricity users, or invisibility for your first free roam! And I don't care what anyone says, Natalie Port--er, Jane Foster is BAE.

(edit: Malektih can also teleport through grates, symbiote puddles, and sandpits! Ain't that neat?)
