Amazing Game. Captured my attention so much, I didn't even have a video on the 2nd monitor.

So I'm someone who hasn't played YIIK but I have watched someone play through it and seen a lot of videos on. I felt the original game had potential but wasn't my thing because it felt tonally off at times or took missteps in the approach. However, Here. I actually liked what I played. It was fun, bizarre and engaging. Yeah it's campy but that's fine! This game feels like a fever dream and the combat felt fast/fluid. The music was fantastic and I love how animated everything was instead of just being character cut-outs. The Karda system has a potential to be something great with strategy and team planning. I'm looking forward to more YIIK, which is something I never thought i'd say. The team has won me back.

Despite being in Early Access. There's roughly 4-6 hours of content if you're up for it. If you ever played Ender Lillie's you'll enjoy this game. Combat and traversal felt nice, not too many methods to reach new areas. I do wish there was more equipment to fiddle with but it's still early in the game so I get it. Picking variations of Skills is a lot of fun to toy with and create your preferred play style. I'm looking forward to seeing more as the Story to me is the most fun thing about this, seeing it tie in to it's prequel.
