I've played a lot of DW games and even this I played most of this one, I can't recommend it even to fans of the series. If you want a good DW game in 2020 go for Orochi 4 instead.

Spirit of Sanada is a DW game with a focus on story, which if you realllllly like the Sanada story you might enjoy that aspect of the game, but the game falls flat in almost every other area. Exploration missions are just awful, but they are also frequent and mandatory for end game grinding. Gameplay is only ok, lots of enemies but not a lot of interesting gameplay overall. Graphics are disappointing, I had bad performance on a GTX 1080 even though the visuals are broken and unimpressive.

If you love Warriors-likes, don't even consider buying this unless it is heavily discounted. Again, I recommend Orochi 4 Ultimate because it has more content, more enjoyable gameplay, and better graphics & performance on my system.

Like most have said, this was a pre-order bonus with some joke skins. But I can't recommend this for $10, that's way too much for some gag outfits. If you missed the pre-order, sorry! The game itself is very good.

Love it so far, able to see everything about my PC's performance per game. Feels a lot more simple to use than rivatuner and afterburner. Also love that it works in pretty much every game, with a one button on/off, with no need to start recording when you want to see your .1% and .01% lows.

Only gripe is that apparently the software is $10 directly through their website, so steam gets a higher price unfortunately.

Great combo based melee gameplay mixed with incredibly eyecatching environments, shocking ideas, fully voiced characters with many optional quests, and a ton of blood and guts.

Feels like they've lost touch with their fans. They don't seem to understand what made Just Cause 2 so great. JC4 feels like a really emotionless entry to the series that continues to depend on gimmicks to try to get players attention instead of having an actual fun gameplay loop.

If you love the series because of Just Cause 2, play that game or buy this one if it's heavily on sale. If you liked Just Cause 3, this is basically worse than that game.

Things about this game i'm bitter about: No dual wielding, no grenades/c4, grapple reliant puzzles/objectives, lots of escort & defense missions, lots of terminal hacking in every base, no weapon/character upgrading at all, vehicle handling is terrible even the helicopters, the graphics somehow got worse from JC3. I could go on but I won't. This game really dissapointed me.

Possibly the best FPS campaign i've ever experienced. The psycho ♥♥♥♥ that happens is off the walls crazy, the gunplay is hectic and powerful, the levels are sprinkled with alternate routes and secrets, and you kill a LOT of nazis.

An extremely beautiful, genuinenly enjoyable adventure from start to finish. This game tells a more emotionally driven story without words in 3-4 hours than many 100 hour RPG's strive to do.

Giant Squid Studious and 505 Games, PLEASE make more games like this!

Is this game good? Yes. Is it an improvement over its predecessor? Not so much.
Every time I play this game I can't help but think about how much less there is. Just Cause 2 had a bigger feeling, more diverse map, it had more weapons (and they were upgradable), it had more vehicles, locations, unique missions, and just about everything else you can think of.
If they re-released Just Cause 2's world with Just Cause 3's wingsuit and retractable hooking mechanics it'd be the perfect Just Cause game. The way it stands now, they took out way too much content to warrent what little new they brought.

I'd give it like a 6.5/10. Really anyone could pick up this game and have fun playing it. I really liked this game but it is far, far away from its true potential.

They just don't make enough games like Darksiders anymore. Action platformers are sadly dying out in favor of twitch FPS's, moba's, and MMO's. Games with Darksiders perfect combination of satisfying hack and slash combat combined with varied and interesting environments are hard to come by.

I miss the days of true adventure games like Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, Legend of Zelda, and other awesome exploration focused adventure games. Games like Darksiders aren't "Do whatever you want, build whatever you want" but they give you very specific tools that make interacting with the world fun.

Darksiders was a satisfying game from beginning to end, and if you want an awesome somewhat oldschool feeling adventure with a great story and artstyle, then look no further than Darksiders.

A spiritual successor to Resident Evil 4. The game is often times a great challenge without ever being BS or artificially difficult. The levels are seperated by chapter, and are very linear with minimal backtracking. Many boss fights are meant to be escaped instead of fought. Weapons are satisfying and enemies react very noticeably to being attacked, making gunplay feel heavy and strong (provided you have ammo to burn at all.)

The first quarter of the game felt really easy but after that the game starts sending increasingly large waves of enemies per chapter, putting a heavy focus on combat and managing resources. I nearly ran out of ammo completely a few times but was always able to make using traps or disposable melee weapons. Also most guns have the capability of killing most enemies in a single critical shot if you feel lucky.

Also a few things the games did right that could have been annoying but wasn't.
-AI partners: they are for brief sections and can easily handle themselves, and can be healed for free. They are surprisingly usefull, while in most games AI partners are a drag to bring with you.
-Puzzles: They are all short-medium length and require just the right amount of thought. No reading books to find where a secret pressure plate is or anything like that.
-Length: The game took me 18 hours to beat on my first playthough on survival and I apparently found only about 60% of the collectibles. The game is very replayable and offers rewards for doing side content like hard mode and collectibles.

I played with an Xbox One controller at the default 30fps and the game felt great to me. The optimizations is pretty off, I have a GTX970 and wasn't able to keep a steady 60fps when I switched the cap off, although I can play Rage and Wolfenstein maxed with better performance. I have never experienced any crashes or game breaking glitches.
I was at first saying I was glad I didn't pre-order, but buying the game I feel like I would have been happy if I did, it's a great game despite the lack of true PC care.
