Map Sharing - The fact that this is advertised as a paid feature is embarassing
Naval Missions - Basic Quality of Life change for navies, and you charge people for it?
Barbary Pirates - Small, decent bit of flavor for Barbary Nations (Also for The Knights), altough unless you play them yourself, only Tunis Morocco and Tlemcen will tipically use it
Trade Leagues - Small buff for Trade Republics, Makes Novgorod die faster if A.I
Condottieri - Small niche mechanic to improve warfare
15€ for this? You're out of your mind Paradox
Buy this on sale for 5€ and you'll only feel ripped off, instead of straight up robbed.

"How many DLCs are we gonna release boys?"
"Another one"
"Another one"
"Another one"
"And Another one"
Pretty nifty content pack so you can steamroll as Ming/Japan/Manchu along with decent amounts of flavor for these countries plus a couple others like Korea.
Comes with the Age Mechanics, to try to convince you to play in the late game even tough you really just wanna finish that achievement and play someone else.
Diplomatic macrobuilder, a basic, quality of life, user interface improvement, is also locked behind a paywall.
It's not as bad as Mare Nostrum atleast
Same as always, wait for a sale

270,75€
That's how much it costs you to get all this game's DLC.
This would be fine if you could pay the game without DLC but you can't. Now to be fair some of that is just music packs and unit packs. Still doesnt justify the price of the other DLCs
Institutions? Better hope you bought common sense so you can develop your provinces.
Don't worry, devastation is a free mechanic. Prosperity isn't tough, better pay up
You see that Ages thing up there? It's there to server as a trigger for some events. We could hide it sure but we wanna remind you that you're missing out on this DLC where you can use the Ages mechanic fully
Nation Designer? Better buy RoM otherwise you'll see invisible ruler traits that you can't use
If you want naval missions, a small interface change to make navies more manageable, better pay up for Mare Nostrum.
And you seriously lock the diplomatic macrobuilder, a BASIC INTERFACE CHANGE, behind a DLC?
You really force players to pay for Cossacks just so they can grant provinces they don't want to their vassals?
Expansions alone cost 155€, Base game cost 40€. And the oldest, barebones outdated DLCs like Conquest of Paradise still cost full price.
Also even if you do pay money for all these expansions, you won't feel you got your value for the price you paid. Even Art of War, the best DLC (in my opinion), isn't worth 20€. Compare that to Mare Nostrum that also costs 20€ and is barely worth 5€.
In short : Art of War, Common Sense, Rights of Man and Mandate of Heaven are mandatory DLCs that the game feels broken without. Consider the 40€ an entry fee. And you're already happy to tell players how you've got another DLC coming up? Guess it's okay tough since it's just an expansion pack and will probably only cost 10€.
On the bright side tough, Atleast the game's not on EA levels of DLC
Yet.
Consider buying this game only if:
It's on sale (A.K.A when the next DLC drops)
They fix this godawful DLC policy

For those with the patience to learn all the nifty mechanics of this game, it'll definitely pay off. I'll admit, I was rather overwhelmed at first and was decimated time and time again. But I learned from my mistakes and am now the undisputed greatest power the world has seen.
Also every game is different. One game you will see France destroying England and the other England will conquer France. You never now what to expect (Except Castille taking over North Africa, that always happens).
9/10 would recommend to fans of these types of games.

My 3rd son became possesed by the devil at the young age of 3 and got himself a witch babysitter. At age 5 he killed his older brother. At age 18 he became count, and quickly decided to attempt to murder his father. Failed twice, was imprisoned twice and houdini-escaped twice. At age 20 he sucedeed in killing his father, plunging the once grand kingdom of Denmark into chaos. Now, the Kingdom of Denmark is but a tale of legend. As for myself, I am now reduced to an one-province count, after owning a kingdom spawning 37 provinces, playing as the grandson of the deceased king,
10/10 would raise possesed child again.
