Great game. Its definitely got that OwlCat feel from minute zero with all of the great story telling and decision trees. If you enjoyed Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous you will likely enjoy this one. I also have never played a Warhammer title but this game gave me a huge amount of lore and hooked me a bit into it.

I would say definitely worth buying at least on a discount.

Thaumaturge, made by 11 bit studios, is an amazing game that really caught my attention. As someone who loved Frostpunk, I was curious to see how the developers would do with a detective RPG. The game reminded me a lot of Disco Elysium, but with a cool magic twist that made it really fun to play. The story kept me hooked, and even though the fighting was pretty straightforward at first, it got more challenging and enjoyable as I played. I'd rate Thaumaturge a 9.5/10 for being such an engaging and well-made game.

Larian has taken everything they've learned from Divinity 1 & 2 to the next level in BG3. Without a doubt it is the game of the year for 2023, but its also set the standard for the games to come in the current and forthcoming generation. Purchase, keep in the library, and play it once you have the time.

Its an alright game. To me, the game feels like it had so much potential but was rushed with its plot and its writing. It is worth trying, though.
