Tried it on free weekend. Multiplayer was not functional, as there was terrible desync and crashes when trying to play coop.

It'll likely take you at least 30 minutes to join a server without crashing, and once you (maybe) get in, the game is extremely poorly optimized even on very high end systems. If you're lucky enough to actually be able to join a server and you don't mind the piss poor FPS, then the game could be very enjoyable.
