Underrated, this game brings a really cool luggage of things. It is like stepping into a near future where you play as a special squad that are equipped with high technological equipment to make their missions as easy for them as possible while making it as unfair for their enemies as possible.
What I really like is the ability to coop the campaign and mix up the gear you bring, which allows for a variety of ways to complete your mission.

I'd say give it a try. It requires you to register for uplay, but that's not a real hassle.

Do you like Puzzle-Platformers?
Did you like the game LIMBO perhaps?
Then this game is for you.

Aside from appealing graphics, The Swapper brings out an interesting new way to tackle obstacles..as you clone yourself, swap places with a clone. There are a multitude of obstacles that limit you such as zones that stops swapping lasers or do not allow clones to be placed. An interesting feature is that the game goes super slow-mo whenever you hold the right button (To create a clone). You can use that to perform some dastardly moves such as a life-saving swap.

The story?
A mystery you'll hafta unravel yourself.

LIMBO is a puzzle-platformer that raises many questions. But it is not gameplay related, it is rather yourself starting to wonder these thoughts:
Who is this nameless boy?
Where is he?
Why is he here?
What is going on here?!

The story is awfully vague, only saying "Uncertain of his sister's fate, a boy enters LIMBO". There's not much telling where he has gone to to come to said place..or -what- he has done...or worse, what -might- have happened to him.
Or his sister.

The controls are very responsive and smooth, and smooth fits the animation work of everything in the game. The game has a touch of realism, where you'll die if you jump off from too great heights for example. He is a resilent individual, not making a single human noise from himself, but you'll hear plenty of other sounds like those of sawblades decapitating him.
The game has a very depressing color scheme being in black and white with all these horrific things that can happen to the boy. He can die some awfully brutal deaths such as impalement, crushed under and even get decapitated from giant beartraps.
The puzzles are very clever thought and brings much variety, such as using the dead for your own good or even playing traffic light with a giant bug. At some points you're even challenged to survive a situation in where the majority of your freedom is taken away from you.

The game itself can be called a trial and error game. For a first timer, it takes a few attempts before you realize what you are meant to do. For someone like me who knows what's coming, it teaches you that the game is very short (A speedrun with minimal casualties takes around an hour to complete from start to finish). For this reason, I recommend buying the game ONLY during sales and not otherwise.

Long Live The Queen is a game that features trial and error, logical thinking and strategy.
To win, Elodie must survive to her coronation, but there are a lot of dangers on the way. Every week, you can pick two classes to let Elodie study on, varying from social skills to combat experience.
An important factor is Elodie's mood: It's hard to be social when you're depressed, but that's a good opportunity to learn more about something cheerful, like singing. Each weekend you can let Elodie do an activity that affects her mood (while the story may also affect it a little, such as a snake scaring Elodie). When skilled enough in a certain area, such as for example Military, Elodie can unlock a Military outfit that boosts said skill a little.

As stated, strategy will be involved as Elodie's skills heavily affects how the story plays out. For example, there is a part where Elodie is given a box of chocolate that is poisoned. Depending on certain skills, Elodie will either know it is poisoned, or she will have the patience to leave it for later (in which a steward steals it, leading to his death). Lacking any of these, means you aren't even given the option to not eat the chocolate as Elodie will be too eager to feel the sweet taste of soon-to-be-death.
This is why it is also a bunch of trial-and-error: Your first time playing, you're not going to know what's coming at you; eventually you'll slowly progress and remember what events are coming ahead in which you can plan stratetic mood alterings to help you level up the skills needed to pass the events.

It's a very calm and fun game that I can recommend to people who want something really simple.
Not recommended for the faint of heart who can't read about Elodie dying in many different ways...

I wonder what kind of drugs the creators were on when they came up with a fighter that'd include a gir assisted by her parasitic hair, outside-in I guess turned out..nun that can take on the look of anyone else, a depressive-to-look at 15 years old girl looking like a very tragic (and is) experiment. Even, ninja nurses.
But my favorite's gotta be the catgirl who has an undying body. Not even chopping her head off..which she can use puppet-wise in-game to perform attacks on its own....

Damn. What were the creators smoking.

Marvelous music, glorious gameplay, superb story, neat narrator..

Bastion is a jewel that has been sitting on a shelf and I have walked past it for so long. I really recommend this game because it's truly a masterpiece; and proves that games can be an artform.

You're taken away from what you call home and find yourself lost in a new world; in a wilderness like place. You'll meet weird obstacles and creatures in this world..so you better not starve. If you wish to get out of here.

The game's fun and challenging, definetly worth to try!
