Reviewing this to make the review count 4,500 instead of 4,499, amazing game, tragic it can't be bought on steam anymore.

Transistor is a visual and audio masterpiece, much like the devs prev game Bastion it isn't terribly long or complex. It's simplicity in some areas is made up for with the intricacy of the "weapon system". The combat is straight forward but elegant, the characters background deepens as you progress, particularly the antogonists and protagonist, and of course, your mysterious ever commenting travel companion. Overall the story is a lovely tale unfolding before you with several twists and an ending that will bring you to both tears of joy and of sadness.
