I wanted some good ol' Modern Warfare COD, that would feel like the OG's, but with this today's features and that's what I got. Gameplay is good, but ever since the release of BO6 the game went to sh*t. You get BO6 launcher where you have to choose MWIII which after the game closes and launches MWIII. Completely unnecessary step for someone who doesn't play BO6 and doesn't care about it. Secondly, even in northern Europe half the time you get in a lobby full of Chinese. No other problem there, but either they OR you have 120 ping. Until they do something about these Issue's... I can't recommend. Also Campaign was garbage so don't buy because of it. Still better than BO6...

Graphics are 2012, but very well made, doesn't stick out too much.
Great sneaking mechanics, combat is simple, but solid. Also you can do so much in this game to get around things. Just get different powers, for example mind-control and you can move as a person or as a rat, and there are plenty of places to use these in a mission. Speaking of powers, blink (the very first power you get) doesn't feel like its op. Maps are made well to use blink, but it still doesn't feel like i'm cheating in a way, like in some other games.
Last, but not least, Story. Hands down one of the best stories. You can read little letter's and "books" inside the game that give depth and inside to the story and the world around, how everything got started and non-story related things. Still you can go around the game if you don't really care about that kind of stuff, but its there if you want to know the lore. There are also several real life books and comics if you're interested in reading the lore in a bus or something.

You can play the game without caring about the lore and just have great time sneaking around so people who dont care about the lore can have great time too, but you can also have the best time of your life, reading the lore and get invested in it.

Played +60h in the first week of owning this game. Very much fun, especially if you play with friends.
