It's been almost 20 years since a game has been able to capture such an essence.

I can see what it can be and I only hope to be here for it, it's already got so much of what I want out of racing games.

This game edged out Risk of Rain 2 for greatest video game ever made in my opinion. I didn't think it was possible, but Elden Ring did it.

Picked this up because I missed racing games since my controller developed stick drift on the right thumbstick. This game is keeping my addiction going.

If you actually set out with a specific goal you want to accomplish, and will get upset if it doesn't happen the way you want, then look elsewhere.

If you have the Gmod DarkRP "walk down the street and see what hijinks happen today" mentality, then this game will be much more your speed.

When I'm blessed by God's Teachers (rolling off 7 grams of mushrooms) and I must defeat the Servants of Ego (FBI Agents) because I found out the magic of Empathy and Love, and the machinations of our society want to exterminate me for it (I walked into a police station with an m1911)

Do yourself a favor and just try it, it's a little overwhelming at first because theres just so much visible depth to what you can do, but after quickly picking it up youll have lots of fun trying to push the boundaries of creativity with how you can approach missions. don't get too attached to characters and embrace the mistakes that you make, you shouldn't go full hotline miami and just trash every run since you only get one shot to get it right, however you do have room for recovery so long you dont screw up too terribly

One of the greatest games of all time. Amazing roguelike gameplay, stunningly gorgeous visual style, and a soundtrack so amazing it has brought me to tears listening to it. Genuinely a masterpiece all around.
