Why did you “accuse” someone of cheating when you know they haven’t been, it was really you that has cheated?

But to answer the question…

People gaslight others. They accuse others of doing something that actually they have done themselves. It is blame-shifting at its finest. They shift the blame and shift the spotlight off of them to make themselves feel better. They literally convince themselves and everyone else that what they’re saying is true. And they keep saying it so much, that it becomes believable. People accept this false narrative as reality. Then when it comes out they cheated, oh well, you supposedly did it first and they’re not the evil one. So, they do this to hide their own sin. Or they also use this as a way to push others away. So if you love them you should speak up because life is too short to let them manipulate you like this. And to use your kind and caring feeling against you.
