Early Access Review
Great game full of game breaking bugs that will never be fixed as the game was abandoned

Avoid it, terribly mediocre

The beginning is a slog, and it takes a long time to accelerate the story
And the plot has more holes than a swiss cheese

Good luck trying to race in the Unlimited class at the hardest difficulty. Just cars bumping into you making it impossible to finish at first.
Other issues include random crashes (that I never found in previous Dirt entries), Gymkhana events sucking (compared with Dirt 3 and even Dirt Showdown) and online events being seriously broken (e.g. waiting 6 min in queue while average queue time was 1m30s, while still not finding any match).

My recommendation is go back to play Dirt 3

The 91% positive rating this game has baffles me. The controls are super clunky, I found bugs while playing (random bug that slowed down time and capped the game at 20 FPS until the 60 sec mark) and it is not challenging at all...you get better served with Super Hexagon or any of the UBERMOSH games

- Slow walking speed, which is an hassle when you have an objective that requires you to walk, non-stop for +3 minutes.
- Story is boring and underwhelming, since it does not give detailed insights on the different narratives it introduces.
- Sometimes objectives are confusing, due to lack of tips (pressing H for the character very remotely say what to do next is not enough).
- Your decisions guide you through different chapters which is a nice touch. What it isn't a nice touch is that there is only 1 ending nevertheless, so ultimately, your choices did not matter.
- I typically like very short games, but given how tiresome it is to play this game, for 3h this game massively overstays its welcome. I recommend you to play something else - you are not missing anything by playing this game, just wasting your time honestly.

Good Luck trying to play this game alone beyond easy difficulty, with enemies spawning behind you and inside houses...appaling spawns, ruins the whole game

Abandonware

Game was on Early Access for more than 1 year without any updates. And lo and behold, it has just exited Early Access without any update made.

Suffice it to say that this game is unfinished.

Yeahhh, no. One thing is a game being difficult. Another is the blob and the body hitbox being broken, driving a player into frustration by dying because of broken hitboxes over and over again.

If you are really looking for a challenge and an unbroken game, buy Super Hexagon. Is cheaper, more rewarding and fun.

Why try to innovate the horror genre, when this game can't even handle the basics?

Ok, these positive game reviews really bog me out, because not only is this game mediocre at best, but it is unfinished as well.

- The story is basic, at par with with mediocre/bad horror games
- The environment/ambient doesn't push you in. I don't even demand this game to be scary, but nothing drove me into this world
- Abrupt ending, where nothing is explained, demonstrating its unfinished state
- Art style and graphics are mediocre
- I saw other reviews state something that is not true at all - that this game is bugless. Actually, it has a lot of bugs!
--- In level 1, if you go against the edge of a door, surprise, surprise, you can see through walls!
--- In level 4, i found that if you crawl against dossiers you move hyperfast.
--- In level 4, found a wall that let me through to fall out of the map, to my death. Interesting enough, when you fall of the map, you go through the death menu to 2 times
- All levels have invisble walls
- AI is non existent and feels scripted. It isn't neither scary or presents a challenge and also spawns and unspawns in front of you...ffs...
- It just wasn't fun to play...and after all, shouldn't this be the sole reason for someone to play a videogame?
- 2 hours of gameplay for a game that costs 17€? Really? I would be fine if this cost 5€, but this game is purely and simply overpriced.

Overall, this game was a disappointment. Just because it tries to bring something new to the horror genre, it doesn't mean it should be free of any criticism.

Overall: 3/10
