I was definitely super hype for this game. I was more excited about this game than any other VR game to date, and for the most part I was not let down. The gameplay is as fun as ever. Nothing crazy different compared to boneworks other than the super cool new avatar system. The avatar system itself brings some really cool things to the table, and I feel like SLZ has done an amazing job with it. The idea of changing actual attributes of your character by pulling a chord on your arm gives me massive ben10 vibes and my inner child had a blast playing through the story. That being said, don't buy this game for the story. It is very short. This game is more about the possibilities. It's about the sandbox, the potential mods, the 'what-if' scenarios, the funny/cool physics moments. I have really enjoyed my time with it, and I really feel like it will keep improving as mods get added.

Pros:

• Feels like an improvement upon an already great game/engine.
  
• Avatar system is amazing and adds variety to situations.
  
• With most things, saying "can I do this" the answer is yes. Imagination makes the game incredibly fun.
  
• Lots of lore tidbits to pick up on (I know a large portion of players won't care about this)
  
• Seems to run better than Boneworks did at launch

Cons:

• The story, with only some time goofing off, is maybe 5 hours. Don't buy the game for the story itself.
  
• Early into the story, it doesn't really do the best job of guiding you along.
  
• Obviously it just came out, but there aren't any mods yet to really make up for the lack of content
  
• Some of the built in avatars don't feel like they have a use. Why would I ever pick normal tattoo guy
  when freerunning girl is the same but moves faster? Why bother with slow cat man when I can just
  crouch with any normal sized character? I ended up using freerunning girl, big chungus, and vegan
  iron giant for almost all of the puzzles.

Also I just want to note that I did not experience any issues with Index whatsoever other than maybe trying to put something in the bottom back slot. Sometimes I couldn't pull from it first try. Other than that, I had no problems with controls, shooting, grabbing, anything. I would honestly say (contrary to other opinions I've seen) that I felt like shooting was great. The vector was a massive amount of fun, and ammo never became a problem. I don't know why so many people are having issues or what I've done differently, but its been a nice experience and doesn't feel broken in any way to me on Index. I hope others get whatever is going on resolved though.

Look just get it. Stop looking at reviews. Just get it. Its super fun with a group of friends that are little cry babies and loud.

I really enjoy this game. Its a lot different from past DBZ titles in that it has a somewhat RPG feel. I say somewhat because there are definitely some elements it could improve on. Best tip keep senzu beans on you and you win the game. GG
