Like many others, I played Zoo Tycoon back in the day and loved it, so I was really looking forward to this spiritual successor. When I first got Planet Zoo, I immediately began to play through the career scenarios to learn the basics, and I quickly learned this is not Zoo Tycoon. I struggled with the controls and how fiddly placing paths and objects could be. In fact, I wanted to return it because it was frustrating, but I'd spent too much time trying to get good that I was past the playtime allowed for a return. So the game sat for a few months. I finally picked it up again after watching a few tutorials on YouTube (Paulsley is fantastic!), and have been having a blast. I've now played through all the career levels to a gold star and am loving my franchise zoo. I still can't always place pathing exactly where I want it, but now I find that amusing rather than frustrating.

tldr: if you're struggling at first, watch some tutorials and keep at it. It gets addictively fun and you learn to find the fiddly bits endearing.

This is the survival game that I've been wanting. I love the PVE survival and beautiful landscapes.

The emotional resonance is real. It's been a long time since I've been so attached to a voice on the other end of a radio.

Stardew Valley is the ultimate game for relaxation and wholesome gaming. Unless you want to run your farm to maximum efficiency, in which case, you do you.

I loved Theme Hospital back in the day. Two Point Hospital is giving me all the nostalgia while not just being the same game. It's an upgraded and improved version with all different diseases and challenges. The radio that plays in the game is 2 parts soothing and 1 part hilarious. I know where all my weekends are going for the foreseeable future: Two Pointy County hospitals!

Beautiful, challenging, relaxing...this game is a great way to unwind and chill while still being difficult enough to be rewarding. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for only a $5 price tag. It would have been a bargain at twice the price.

Got it on sale and it was definitely worth the price of admission. Kept me busy getting all of the achievements. Lots of replay value. Can't wait to try out the Colonial Charter mod. I haven't up to this point because achievements don't unlock if you have mods installed and I am an achievement ♥♥♥♥♥.

As a longtime lover of the Civ Franchise, I took a break and never got around to Civ 5 after playing the very broken release version with a friend.

This installment is beautiful, complex, and immersive. Ah, Civ, how I missed you!

Update: I've just nominated this game for the "5 More Minutes" Award. I mean, Civ devotees identify themselves with the hashtag #onemoreturn. It's a perfect fit for this addictive series.
