Very easy and very boring gameplay. Most bosses die within a few seconds.
The camera is incredibly awful; at some points it feels like I'm playing blind.

The dialogue is lame and incredibly awkward with weird pauses between different people speaking.
The animations for dialogue are downright scary.
Some in-game voice tracks are repeated. For example, Eggman says "No way! I can't believe this" in two separate boss fights. WTF?

The hub NOT fun to navigate. Why not just use a normal level selection screen?

Crappy dialogue, crappy camera angles, crappy controls. I got this game because I used to love it as a kid, but even nostalgia can't save this game from how bad it is.

The dialogue is lame and often one voice file plays before the other has even finished so you can't hear the end of some sentences.

Often when I'm playing I try to move the camera around to see if I can find any hidden animals or try to figure out where to go next. After a few milliseconds the camera then whips back into its original position which gets really confusing and discombobulating. Often the camera moves too quickly by itself - I'll try to jump to the left but as I do so, the camera moves by itself and I end up moving in a different direction to what I intended.

The controls are really wacky. I've tried many times to use the Ring Dash ability only for sonic to start spinballing and then throw himself off the map.

Knuckles' and Tails' missions are way too slow and boring.

In a few boss fight's I've resulted in spamming the attack key and end up killing the boss within about 30 seconds because the fighting is so awkward.

The gameplay starts off pretty fun, allowing you to grapple around like spider-man, but quickly becomes stale as you realise it's exactly the same throughout the whole game. It gets even worse when they give you rocket boots that can save you from almost any sticky situation.

The voice acting is not compelling whatsoever. I was honestly happy when one of the main characters decided to stay behind because it meant I didn't have to listen to her any more. The main narrator lacks any capacity for emotion, and the other few voices are just plain annoying.

The story is lame and a huge letdown. When you finally find the uncle, you see him for about 2 minutes and then he literally yeets you back home. There's no meaningful interaction between the characters, no hugs, no nothing. Just him talking about his research.

The whole game teases you by introducing new, mysterious scenes, and then not giving you any reason to sit down and explore. You arrive to a new area, think "wow this looks amazing!", and then swiftly move on to get to the next area. The graphics are pleasing to look at, but the frog creatures are hideous.

Great game. Very well made.
I love how you can do pretty much whatever you want and still beat the game. (That includes killing all the important people.) Great artwork on the sprites and the music is so good i even bought the OST on bandcamp.

Fun for about 1 minute until you realise you're just playing with bots and you have no idea wtf you're actually doing.

Good game. Best part is when a giant smacks you into space. 10/10 would play again.
