The version of Easy Anti Cheat they're using (EOS) is broken and will not launch no matter what. Even trying to force start it in the services app on Windows doesn't work. The repair app in the games files doesn't want to launch either. But the regular EAC one works. Many threads about this issue on the EA forums, none of the staff provided help beyond telling people to do what they already did or locking threads because "it's necro posting".

This game should be considered to be in a Beta state lmao.

Not even for 10$ this game is worth it.

Vehicles are wholly unbalanced. Reactive armour for a full minute? Sure why not! A full amount of C4 on a Tank? Only half the HP! You need more than a squad full to take down any vehicle and since team play is not a thing., it's not really possible.

Gunplay is unrewarding unless you're using a shotgun at point blank range and one shotting everyone. And that is, using one of the 3 only shotguns which one is useless. Oh and slugs do no damage. Guns are wholly inaccurate no matter the kind except snipers that you can't zero. And not in a consistent way either. Tons of ARs which most people don't use. Make of that what you will (no accuracy leads to always forced CQB)... A couple pistol, only one is viable. SMGs are really you're only choice.

Also, lack of content overall. Matchmaking is a pain since you have to requeue everytime the round ends.

Movement is akin to playing a COD game (sliding around and whatnot). Vaulting is nice but only when it works (50% of the time).

Maps are boring. Simple enough of a descriptive.

The soundtrack is boring af and unlike previous titles. It's not even synced with anything really and forget about map specific songs. Unless there is, but it's so similar you wouldn't be able to tell...

Gun modding while in game? Useful to dupe ammo since if you have two mags of different sizes, you get extra ammo if you have those options enabled. Otherwise you don't use it.

The "levolution" is annoying and not impressive. Doesn't change the maps in any meaningful way except kaleidoscope on the last objective. That one can be argued that it adds some extra "epicness" to the final point in breaktrough.

"Specialists" are a gimmick that add nothing to the game. There's one with a deployable minigun with a shield (very realistic) that if you rocket it, compared to previous titles, the deployable is simply destroyed leaving the guy perfectly healthy and undamaged. The lady with the healing pistol is the only useful specialist i've seen used. Otherwise the one with the deployable shield, the wingsuit and the deployable auto-turret but that's the default engineer so eh.

The only positive thing I can say is that the graphics are quite nice (except the foliage it's worse than previous titles) and the gun animations and models are nice.


Update. The game runs worse than ever. Have to click start 2-3 times before the game launches. 1 out of 3 rounds just lags my entire PC. Sometimes the game will just freeze up and lock up my PC. Sometimes it will crash mid-game. Sometimes in the menu. Sometimes in the loading screen.

LOL, just downloaded the free weekend trial. Tried to play it, got a glitch where it thinks I was using a controller. Tried everything, restarting PC, unplugging everything, replugging, leaving my mic unplugged, etc. After 30 mins of trying to get this buggy game after 1 year after it's release, I gave up. Good thing I didn't buy it.

Awesome game! A lot of fun to play but the player base is small. If you're scared of the pay to win, the advantages that are not over 30$ are not game changing. A must play imo. And the 25% bonus when playing with a friend is an awesome idea!
