The game is fun to play and the 3 Descendants I've used so far are enjoyable also. My biggest issue and only real issue worth noting is it runs and is optimized like absolute ♥♥♥♥, my system is above the recommended specs and I've messed with settings quite a lot from one extreme to the other and seen little to no difference in performance. Its really taking away from the experience and the fights in general because of how bad the stutters are and how Inconsistent the game is.
If this changes at a later date my review will turn positive but for now I would say wait and give the game more time before trying.

So for anyone wondering whether its worth buying this game 83 business years after its PC release , If you have a 3070 graphics card or above and a very fast CPU id say sure maybe on a sale . The game Itself as we all know is a masterpiece but its optimization is complete dogsh** . Even with what i said above its still likely you'll drop alotta frames at certain points and get a stutter or two.
When you first load the game its going to be downloading shaders and your CPU will go straight up to 100% for the entire duration. This should go without saying but do not try to play the game when its doing that, just wait.
Lastly If anyone is using Msi afterburner / Rivatuner overlay , Dont because pressing the keybind to enable that overlay will immediately crash the game. (I tried 3 times and it crashed immediately all 3 times)
Overall the story and game itself is fantastic but still and probably always will run like absolute trash sadly. There are still people getting a few bugs happening that i myself have not come across as of yet but that's just yet another potential negative still.
For the poor optimization alone and you needing quite a decent bit above the recommended specs to run the game somewhat smoothly I'm giving it a negative review.

Honestly i have many things i think are cool about the game , visuals and monsters in the game in general are quite cool .
My biggest issues lie with the audio feeling really low for a start . Like people full sprinting around i don't hear them until they are almost right beside me which doesn't help anything and its trash .
The spawn system is the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing I think I've ever seen in my life also . I've spawned in many a time not just in the full release of the game but in the beta which i put many hours into also and died almost immediately and its not fun nor do i stand a chance against someone staring at my pod with a green or blue rarity weapon that shreds everything.
Moving away from actual gameplay issues I have, the optimizations feels as tho its almost gone backwards...
In the games beta i was running around between 150-250 frames stable on high and ultra settings however now the game is at its 1.0 im running low and medium getting stutters and massive frame drops at random periods throughout the raid and while in the Hub area.

All in all The Cycle has potential to be good in the future but at this moment its gotta whole lot of trash things goin down and its just not enjoyable to grind. I have more issues i could add into this review like how its absolutely 110% impossible to win against teams when your a Solo player etc but these are SOME of the many issues it has currently.

Cheater heaven , lost half its playerbase in the last 3 days . Desync problems out the literal ass. Servers make me feel like im standing outside maccies tryna scab free wifi. Do not play this game . It had potential but this dev team do not seem to be capable of making decisions worth making . The game has An Anti cheat thats actually decent but the devs are letting cheaters destroy the game by only doing manual bans with a studio as small as 200 people rather than letting the anti cheat do the job its in the game to do like big brain humans.

I well and truly do not understand the hate this game gets, honestly its probably just because they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at fps games , but this game is amazing

This is my first ever F1 game to play despite being a fan of watching the sport since i was a kid and jesus christ ive killed myself in game more times than i can count but the game is fire and really satisfying when you get it right , looking forward to F1 2021 For sure

Game is dope and its alotta fun to play .. However I feel like its never going to grow or have longevity if a few things don't happen in the near enough future with the game , and yes I understand its early access so bugs are going to occur and all of these could very well be implemented in 1.0 but the few things listed bugs can cause big issues and the things i feel should be added would just give the player more of a reason to continue playing the game

1 - Random audio issues . either footsteps jus decide not to be audible or a shotgun shell being shot behind me is not making sound. Fix is massively needed there.

2 - AI Shooting there weapon at me and then putting there hands ups after shooting me , it gives you a penalty for shooting him though because he "surrendered" . Massively needs a fix also .

3 - There needs to be more weapon choices in the game without a shadow of a doubt and you should also be able to customize your weapons attachments . As of now there are 6-8 Primary weapons to choose from 1 being a riot shield that doesn't work well at all and others having unbelievably bad iron sites such as the MP7 and MP5 . You also have only 2 pistols to choose from neither of which have a silencer . The Glock and Deagle. The Deagle is absolutely useless 9 times outta 10 . I'd like to see more pistols for sure potentially a USP with a silencer or an M1911.

4 - Very weird frame drops / inconsistencies with certain maps , mainly the last 3 maps you play in co-op/solo

5 - in the bigger maps sometimes if there is only 1 or 2 enemies left they will get stuck in a door and make zero noise whatsoever so youll spend 45 business years trying to find them just for them to 720 no scope spinbot you when you approach said door they are stuck in (This didnt just recently happen to me and i didnt jus lose composure i swear)

6 - and lastly given the game only has an average of 150-200 concurrent players , the implementation of workshop maps is needed given playing vs AI with mates or solo is basically what you'll be doing in this game the most over PVP .

Overall the game has a few bugs that are irritating/a lil bit game breaking on occasion yes but these are things that I'm sure the devs will be looking into if they aren't already . I like what they are going for with the game and given its such a cheap game for what it is I think it is well worth buying.
