For me this was one of the first games I have ever played on the PS1 next to Tomb Raider.
I didn't play this game on release because it came out the same month I was born, but when I was little like 7 or 8. My Uncle still had his PS1 and had a copy of this game. After buying this game on Steam it brought back memories. It still remains one of my favorite games of all time due to it being one of the most memorable game of my childhood and because of the amazing game it is. 10 years later playing it on PC, I still find it a master piece. The soundtracks, the story, the fighting system, I love everything about this game, I haven't even finished it on PC yet and it has been so much fun re playing it, I also got the game on sale for 4.99, which is easily worth it for a game with so much content and so much stuff to do. Also let me add that the modding community for this game is great, I looked into mods that improved Graphics, Character models etc, and I found a mod package called Tifa's Package, comes with so many great mods that make the game jaw dropping. I can't name off everything thing that this Package includes but I can tell you to check it out for yourself. With that being said my experience with this game has been amazing, it's one of the only games I have bothered leaving a review for so that should tell you something, it brings back memories of me getting excited when I was 8 years old and I finally made it to Disc 2 and got the pleasure of switching out the discs in that old dusty PS1. And then finally later going on to Disc 3 and beating the game. Now I am sort of biased because I haven't played that many other Final Fantasy games besides some of the newer ones, but getting this has resparked my interest in the series and after I fully complete this game I plan on moving on to some of the others hopefully. For all of the people that love RPG's and classic games, BUY THIS. Do yourself a huge favor and buy this game, you will not regret it. 10/10
