The AI and general assist is trash.

Switching to a player stops them mid motion running, which is very irritating when trying to defend a breakaway counter-attack. Its also quite often switching to a player doesn't select the player nearest to the ball. Sometimes it would choose a player that is 3 or 4 players away from the ball.

Pass and through balls are 6/10 times not going the direction you aim. The player you pass also tends to stop running the direction the pass is going, because the game switches you to the player the pass is intended for.

The collision engine and tackling system is broken. A player can be mid pass motion, you collide into them from the front or behind, and not tackle the ball, and no foul given. Same goes for tripping. Knocking into a player causes your player to stop and stumble around while your opponent breaks away towards goal.

Going for a header doesn't mean your player will actually heads it, you can be in position to line the player up for the header, and your player lets the ball by them.

There is also no urgency in pass and shots to do them quickly. It takes like 2 to 3 seconds for the player to go through the back-lift motion to kick the ball. So if you have plenty of space to shoot, and want to do a quick shot in or around the box, you will lose the ball before the shot is taken.

Can't say this game is very good. First WWE game I have played since Raw vs. Smackdown 2007, and what a dissappointment.
If you plan on playing this game, get a controller. Playing with a keyboard is near impossible.
Also, the negative reviews about virtual currency and loot cases is well justified and true.

To the public looking into this game:
*I honestly wish I could go back to playing Raw vs. Smackdown 2006. This game is mad buggy. A new game engine and physics system is badly needed.
*Played ladder matches when the ladder falls down and then flies out of the ring. AI opponents sometimes watch another AI opponent go for the title or the MITB briefcase in the ladder match for about 10 seconds, and then attack an opponent next to them instead of fighting off the guy on the ladder.
*AI opponents seem to sometimes get stuck in a repititive loop, where an object is in front of them when they try to run, and try end up running around the ring in circles.
*In multi-man matches, AI seems dead set to interrupt you fighting with another opponent, even if they can go fight with 4 other guys.
*My Player mode (create a player and have a career) is somewhat frustrating. Create a wrestler, with handful of moves (because about 85% of the moves and attires are locked by loot cases), you end up with a boring move set. Your player starts at level 60 and takes forever to rank up, even if you are called up to the main roster.
*Special abilities, like taking off a turnbuckle pad or diving out of the ring, have to be bought with VC for your created player.
*Backstage cut scenes and in-ring promos have no voices, just subtitles. Emotions being expressed for when a player is "talking" is very poor, as they repeat the same body language, regardless of what they are saying and in what context. Head tilting backwards, big smile and laughing, when they are trying to be serious.
*In-ring wise, your opponent will probably perform a reversal on 80% of the moves you attempt.
*I started with 80000 VC tokens. There are 3 different loot cases. Bronze is 2500, Silver is 5000 and Gold is 10000. You can earn VC by winning matches and match performances, but it is a really long grind.
*Most of the "legendary" wrestlers are locked.
*Commentary is really bad and repititve. Its like they are not even reacting to what is happening in the match.

The best thing for 2K to do, to make WWE games really enjoyable again is to:
*Created a new engine and physics system, that will also help with the player collision aspect.
*Bring back GM Mode, like Raw vs. Smackdown 2006, where Raw takes on Smackdown for ratings and who can put on the better product.
*Stop locking majority of the game behind loot cases. No problem if 20% of the game is locked, at least there is something to work towards.
*Rather bring out expansion packs that focus on famous periods and storylines from WWF, WWE, WCW and ECW days. Expansion packs like a NWO expansion pack where you play as them, complete storylines and quests. The same can apply to the likes of Ric Flair, Sting, Dusty Rhodes, Goldberg, Eddie Guerrero etc. These expansion packs can contain extra DLC.
