Spectre divide does many things in a new way and offers a quick and easy alternative to the standard precision fps formula.
In terms of situational complexity where CS is less dynamic, (everyone has access to the same tools and you can predict) and Valorant being more dynamic (individual operators introduce unique their unique visual styling and abilities and the combination of operators is very high). Spectre falls comfortably in the middle with unique operator load outs but lucking the ultimate abilities. The pacing of the game play is slow enough to allow strategy while the increased activity of the specters keeps each game a high kill experience with players using specters and their teleportation in unique ways.

The Crew mechanic seems like an interesting idea, giving you a ranked progression weekly that is reliant on a larger entity than yourself, and the unlocks attached to them. However we will see when the first cycle is over.

As far as developer communication and attitude, they released a day 1 patch to fix issues, and permanently lowered store prices per their customers complaints. Matchmaking times are still a little slow but we are just approaching the first weekend post release so i am sure it is a high priority for them to iron out these issues before Saturday. I would say they get high marks.

This game has high potential but is going to require maintaining a player base that stays above critical mass to keep the systems going. A lot less of a worry from a large company like valve or riott.

I know 7/10 is a bit of an IGN meme, but i truly think 7 is a great number because this game is good, but it could easily fumble the ball. For fans of the precision FPS looking for something just experimental enough to offer something new.

For every Black Myth Wukon that comes out of this region, there's 10 thousand whatever these are.

Eastern dev playbook, Steal everything you can, make it worse, slap brain rot sound effects and GOOD JOB WOW on everything to pump their low-T men with something that feels like accomplishment, and then make sure everything has a way to purchase it with real money.

A game made by ants, for ants.

bad game with lazy devs who havnt put much in the way of anything into making this game worth playing. It's a gimmick that made its money and its practically dead population wise.

I think the developers might be in a little bit over their head with what they are promising with GZW.

What they currently have and what you would be buying IS a competent experience in need of some serious legwork. Regardless of the quality of their game however the server and performance issues will drag its population down extremely fast.

Their roadmap is very ambitious and i for one dont see how they can reasonably achieve what they want in anything under 2 years.

2 requirements, You NEED friends and everyone NEEDS to use the ingame voip.

This game is simple in concept with fantastic execution. If you and the boys are looking for a coop suspense game with lots of laughs and lots of scares, this is THE game right now.

(edit for AI and campaign update)

overall: Slow progress from devs, AI dont feel fun to fight at all, atmosphere is a 10 though.

I can't help but feel the symbolic nature of this title is pushing it to be something that is unobtainable.

RE village is about as forgettable as you can get. From the start, it is an on the rails, melodramatic, mess of cut scenes and awful pacing. The cast is terribly acted and hard to watch with Ethan being the worst offender with 0 charisma.

The good: The In game economy and citizen system is amazing. Every citizen and economic good exists as a single entity and needs to be properly utilized by you as king. You will have a blast figuring out the best way to organize your kingdom in the most efficient way possible. This was obviously the first priority of the devs because it is very well done.

The okay: The UI is functional but severely inhibits the wonderful systems designed into the game. It can be difficult to pull out useful information from the onslaught of numbers. Nothing in this game will tell you what you need in a glance. You will be micromanaging all the way to the top.

the Bad: military/raids/war - none of it is that good. It's there but its a mess and quite frankly about as bare bones as it could be. You could remove this aspect from your game and have an experience that is just as fulfilling.

Summary: the economy system is amazing but the other aspects of the game will leave you wanting a more fleshed out experience. Buy it on sale and enjoy a relatively low impact experience that is easy on the eyes and the nerves.

This game is meant for people who ONLY play rust. If you don't have the time to dedicate hours a day with a circle of friends who also do the same, then stay away because your 40 dollars will be well spent on virtually anything other than this.

A unique gem that every puzzle lover and gaming enthusiast should own. There is no riveting narrative here, only your battle with your mind and all the emotions that come with the strange laws that govern the problems you need to solve.

my advice to get the best experience out of this game is dont settle for just beating it. Be a completionist and try to solve every problem before heading towards the end. It will make it that much more satisfying i promise.
