I really enjoy Endless Alice and see a lot of potential in the game, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The biggest issue is the lack of content—it could use more variety to keep things engaging. Another major area for improvement is the translation. The text often feels clunky and, at times, hard to understand, which takes away from the overall experience.

On top of that, the interface and text could use a bit more polish. For example, adding some visual elements like small icons (e.g., a sword with an up arrow for "damage up") would make the game feel more dynamic and easier to read. With these changes, Endless Alice could really shine!

Review: Warden’s Will – A Barebones Roguelike That Feels Like an Early Access Title

Warden’s Will tries to carve out a space in the roguelike genre, but unfortunately, it falls flat in nearly every aspect. From its uninspired UI to its lackluster gameplay mechanics, the game feels more like a tech demo than a fully realized release.

Bland Presentation and Weak UI

One of the first things you'll notice is how dull the UI looks. There’s no flair, no polish—just a generic layout that feels like a placeholder rather than something designed for an engaging roguelike experience. The menus are serviceable but uninspired, making the whole game feel low-effort from the get-go.

Lack of Content and Enemy Variety

For a roguelike, variety is crucial, but Warden’s Will offers very little. The enemy roster is disappointingly small, making each run feel repetitive far too quickly. Instead of facing unique and challenging foes that force you to adapt, you're stuck fighting the same bullet-sponge enemies over and over. The lack of enemy variety leads to predictable encounters that make the game feel stale after just a few hours.

Weapons and Upgrades Are Too Basic

The weapons in Warden’s Will lack personality and depth. There’s little to differentiate them besides minor stat changes, and none of them feel particularly satisfying to use. Upgrades should be a major selling point in a roguelike, but here, they’re almost meaningless. Instead of game-changing buffs or exciting synergies, the upgrades feel like marginal stat tweaks that don’t significantly alter the way you play.

Combat Feels Like a Chore

The enemies in Warden’s Will are pure bullet sponges, dragging fights out in a way that feels more tedious than challenging. Instead of fast-paced, strategic combat, you’re left dumping round after round into enemies that simply take too long to go down. This kind of balance kills any sense of progression or excitement.

Feels Like an Early Access Game

Everything about Warden’s Will screams "unfinished." From the limited content to the lack of polish, it feels like a work-in-progress rather than a completed game. If this were an early access title with promises of future updates, it might be more forgivable. But as a full-priced release? It’s just not worth it.

Final Verdict: Not Even Worth It on Sale

With its bland UI, lack of content, weak weapon variety, and bullet-sponge enemies, Warden’s Will is hard to recommend. It feels like an unfinished project rather than a fully realized game. Even at a discount, there are far better roguelikes available. Unless the developers make significant improvements, this is one title best left untouched.

Score: 3/10

A Great Game Ruined by Technical Problems, Balancing Issues, and Optimization Nightmares

Marvel Rivals is a game with immense potential, and when it works, it’s a blast to play. The roster features a variety of iconic Marvel characters, each with unique abilities and playstyles, making combat feel dynamic and engaging. The visuals are stunning, with detailed character models and vibrant environments that bring the Marvel universe to life. The gameplay design focuses on character authenticity, avoiding unnecessary distractions and creating a product that feels true to its source material.

However, the game is plagued with numerous issues that severely hinder the experience.

Technical and Optimization Problems
Playing this game on a low-to-mid-tier PC is a nightmare, and even high-end systems are struggling. For context, I’m running an AMD 7900 XTX, and I still need to enable both FSR and frame generation just to achieve decent performance. The optimization is shockingly poor. For players with mid-tier PCs or lower, it’s important to note: these issues are not your PC’s fault—it’s the game’s optimization.

The problems go beyond performance dips and frame rate stutters. This game is reportedly causing:

Memory leaks
Kernel errors
Driver corruption
Heavy disk usage
Many players have reported that crash dump files in the directory C:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Local\Marvel\Saved\Crashes can balloon to ridiculous sizes (some exceeding 250 GB). If you're experiencing constant crashes, clearing this folder may help temporarily, but this shouldn’t be necessary in a properly optimized game.

In extreme cases, the game has even caused blue screens, UE kernel crashes, and PC performance degradation. Some users are worried about potential long-term damage to their hardware. At this point, the game almost feels like malware due to its severe impact on PC systems.

Gameplay and Balancing Issues
Even when the game is running, it has its share of gameplay issues. Character balancing is a big problem—some heroes feel vastly overpowered, dominating matches, while others are so weak they’re practically unplayable. This makes competitive matches feel frustrating and unfair, especially when coupled with frequent crashes and glitches.

Camera glitches are another major issue. In a fast-paced game like this, where split-second decisions matter, having your camera unexpectedly turn around can ruin the flow of combat.

Lack of Developer Response
What’s most frustrating is the lack of official acknowledgment from the developers. Despite widespread reports of these issues—both technical and gameplay-related—there has been little to no communication. It feels like they’re more focused on celebrating their launch than fixing the game-breaking problems players are experiencing.

Final Thoughts
Marvel Rivals could be an incredible game. Its core combat system, character roster, and visual design are genuinely impressive. But the technical problems, combined with balancing issues and poor optimization, make it hard to recommend in its current state.

If you’re considering buying this game, I’d urge caution, especially if you’re on a mid-tier PC. Keep an eye on the game’s updates—hopefully, the developers will address these problems soon. Until then, it’s difficult to justify playing a game that feels more like a risk to your PC than a source of fun.

I do like the game but earning currency for new characters is a joke with how slow it is. You should really be able to earn some by just playing matches.

This is what happens when crybaby Tyrone Rodriguez, cancels the original beta program because of leftover data in the game files and an oversight that let people access modes beyond Greed. Let’s be honest—Greed has been widely disliked since it launched, so why not let players explore something different? Instead, Tyrone throws a fit, claiming there isn’t enough constructive feedback, while ignoring the constant stream of helpful critique the community provides.

Now, thanks to that impulsive decision, the online mode is in a terrible, unoptimized state. It’s frustrating to see decisions made this way, especially when they undermine the potential of a game the community cares so deeply about. Maybe it’s time to listen to players instead of doubling down on bad calls.

Arisen Force: HeroTest has a lot of issues that make it hard to enjoy. Right from the start, the game is plagued with visual glitches and clunky controls, which really kill any sense of immersion. The biggest problem, though, is the combat. For some reason, I could one-shot every enemy, including bosses, which made the game way too easy and honestly pretty boring. There's no challenge, so the fights just feel pointless.

The map design is also a letdown. It’s bland and repetitive, so all you do is run around aimlessly collecting items to continue and that's it. The hero introduction missions seemed like they’d be cool, but they quickly turned into a boring mess, and half the time, I couldn’t even figure out what was going on because nothing about the characters get's explained. Because of this none of the character related jokes landet with me.

One weird thing I noticed is that only the female characters have attack voices, which feels like a strange choice. It makes the game feel unfinished in a way. And while I’m not against jiggle physics, if that's one of the few highlights of the game, it says a lot about what the developers prioritized. It’s like they put more effort into that than actually making the game fun to play.

The visuals are okay, but the way the pixel art characters move looks strange. The morphing between animations is awkward and kind of ugly, which just adds to the list of things that don’t work.

Overall, Arisen Force: HeroTest feels like a rushed, unbalanced game with very little going for it. It could have been fun, but between the easy combat, boring map, and strange design choices, it’s hard to stay interested for long.

As a kickstarter backer i'm very disappointed with this game.
