Wasn't expecting much more then a stopgap until Dune's release next month but i have to say now that i'm a good ways into the game it's one of the best rpgs i've played in a while. The start is a bit slow but once you start moving around the continent and unlock all the mechanical parts of the game it offers everything you'd expect AAA rpgs to offer, even those mini-game breathers (will say the raft bit is infuriating though). If price tags were truly based off content i would expect this title to be where other companies believe their "AAA" titles should be and usually are at these days (70$), fact that it isn't is crazy to me.

If you like dead cells or the hollow knight titles and are looking for something similar you will love it. Definitely worth its price.

Decent for what it is and its price, not what i expected for an x-com type though. There is no world map or base you upgrade or even tech/talent trees for the agents. You start the game and play it through continuously, each area unlocking the next area/fights in a linear experience with some fights/looting in between. If the majority of Slay the Spire games were 3D modeled i'd compare it more to that type of game. Decent for what it is though.

Yea i dunno bout this one chief..the combat is decent but holy hell the dialogue and the obvious agenda behind it is beyond any levels of cringe you can imagine. If you skip and the dialogue scenes then maybe?

Not sure if im going to finish it or not at the moment, ive played all DA titles and this is definitely only a DA title in name. Combat is still decent though so i'll probably finish it to see how bad they butchered the DA universe plot lines.

If you are on the fence for buying though, dont. Certainly not worth the full price so if you love DA titles wait for a sale.

More of less how i remember it. The Duel systems and the combat has changed but the changes aren't bad. If you ran the original into the ground back in the day you'll enjoy it.

Nice X-com style game in between monthly releases. Interesting bit of history I had no idea about prior to buying the game, to think this actually had to be done is insane considering the time period and conditions.

Best Action RPG I've played in quite a while. Less Dark Souls more God of War or Nioh. Combat is fluid, upgrade systems and loot feel nice and not too tedious to get, the music and art are also on point namely the little short animated films after each main chapter boss. Definitely recommend if you're into dark souls or god of war or arpgs in general really.

Interesting X-COM style spin on the Arthurian Mythos. Good stuff.

Meh. Only reason it's a thumbs up is because there's no middle option with steam. It's basically Troy in the middle east with less content and no Mythos mode. Needs to cook a bit more before it's anywhere near its asking price. It's clear there's plenty of DLC planned, you can see outlines of region borders to the west and north of the focus zone. I will say the court and way-point systems make coping with legendary modifiers much easier compared to previous titles in the series.

I'd say wait for a sale or some dlc to drop.

Initial release of the game was absolute dogwater.

Retried it from scratch when phantom dropped, completely different experience. Enjoyed the plot and the game itself has a nice atmosphere. Out of all the endings though i've gotta say only one can be considered a "happy" one. Guess what they said in the show about no one meeting a decent end in night city was true x.x
