This game has changed me in many ways I can't comprehend. Recently I have been trying to get my siblings and friends into it. I can say the prologue and the otherworld are the most boring parts of the game. When I tried getting into this game I played only for a hour or 2 and stopped playing it for half a year. One day felt like beating it so I beat it in 3 days. You might not like the beginning either, but when you get into it trust me it is good and worth it ngl. Probably one of my favorite games of all time, I am just not really fond of dreamworld puzzles and stuff. I only like the dark aspects of the game, but you might like dreamworld so give it a go.
