If you a fan of the anime, manga, and/or light novel. You'll love this retelling of the 3rd arc of the series with some 'What If' sprinkled in between to keep the story fresh and interesting. For those unfamiliar to the franchise you might be a little lost at the beginning as it expects you to have read or watched the first two arcs of the series but it's not absolutely necessary to have seen to enjoy this title.

The game is excellent... When it works. They stopped selling it because they don't care to fix the damn issues on the servers. But believe me when the servers are up and people are on, it's nostalgic and incredibly fun. The campaign is unplayable unless you get a group together or play around the holidays. Good game, horrible management.

Waste of my time waiting on a feature that was promised back in 2018. No splitscreen co-op which was giving me an incentive to buy the game. Now it's given me a reason to say skip this title just for simply breaking a promise on a staple feature to the franchise.

Mechanically the game feels great when rolling around on the track. The physics don't particularly help if you end up in a situation where you're trying to catch up in you end up landing in a bad position. But otherwise driving feels very solid. My largest complaint is the track design. Some tracks are very straight forward and direct you where you need to go without having to adjust orientation. Some tracks I've come to discover have you locked in circles without any immediate explanation. So I would be locked in a loop and suddenly in last place wondering what I'm doing wrong. Any racing worth their salt shouldn't pull nonsense like this. I wanted to like this game but the poor track design stopped me cold.

Waste of money

10/10 Slaying demons all over again. Rip and tear, until it is done.

Having this on both PS4 and PC I can't recommend this enough to anyone who is either a MH veteran or a newcomer. This is the definitive experience for players who want to get into the action and fight monster after monster getting better gear and finding fun with others as you rise through the ranks.

Nothing feels better than snapping into a sosig.
