This game reminds me a lot of the early PS2 PS3 jank.
This is a game i barely recommend, only for the fans of oldschool jank cause the price tag is abusive and this has DENUVO.

The Goods :

- The overall idea for the game is interesting.
- The cast of characters is fun and got their own abilities.
- A lot of Siren vibes.
- The music is alright.
- The gameplay is okay but very limited (PS2/3 jank)
- The overall collecting trinkets and gathering memories is fine.
- It runs perfectly well on Mid tier PC.
- I was surprised it has no game breaking glitches compared to AAA trash.
- Also surprised that the game had real Gore/Dismemberment and kept the themes adult. It's Rare in games.
- The game is very simple and easy....

The Bads :

- The game is way too easy and limited even in the hardest difficulty.
- The combat gets old after 3 hours. It's a 15h game...
- The game is too long and propose nothing new past the first loop.
- Re-using tons of assets, Maps/Npcs/Cutscenes/Animations/Enemies/Boss... I know this is part of the plot but they're abusing it to no end in order to stretch the game time and it's annoying. I mean there's only 4 enemy type. Bosses shares all the same moveset, the only thing they added up to spice up the combats are "curses" that i completely ignored cause the game is too easy.
- The characters and abilities varies in usefulleness, Alex, Anita and Julee combo stay a monstertruck that roll over all the content eyes closed on the hardest difficulty. You can literally end Bosses with poison spam projectiles playing ping pong and this is by design i guess cause they're the main characters but still, it's lame and doesnt make you want to play the others.
- The game is cheap, VERY CHEAP, there's little to no voice actors, terrible english acting, why the game is in english too when the characters aren't in the story ? Why using the SIMS/Gibberish like dialogues when you could just go noises or grunts to avoid very out of tone moments.
- Music and scripts are tight for the first 3 hours then just vanish like an unfinished/not polish game.
- NPCs are ultra dumb and not reactive to the whole game mechanics. They do a little of that in the first hour in the tutorial then it just vanish too. Although i cannot really blame them, NPCs in games like Cyberpunk are way worse.
- Some gameplay things are just useless. Like the cut limb QTE.
- The story didn't deserved to be stretched that much for how simple and predictable it is.
- The character's masks and costumes are cheap too to be honest, it's good to have something but they aren't really costumes for the most part, they're more often recolor skin or just removed parts of main costume aka"shirtless/lets remove the jacket" type of costumes.
- And to end it all, the bigger problem, off course, The price tag + DENUVO combo. Seriously, what were they thinking ?

I enjoyed the game for the jank it was but i can't really praise this too much. It's not as dissapointing as a new Yakuza game cause they have no franchise and roots to destroy and make you mad about.

It's just its own thing that could have been WAY MUCH BETTER with another year or two in the oven. Make it entierely on foreign language for immersion, add way much more lines of dialogue to make the world alive and the characters lovable. Make the gameplay better and more challenging and add more enemies type and add more maps instead of recycling everything 5 times in a row.

This DLC is a monster of content.

Avoid it if you want to commit, only play to pass time.

Its okay.

PROS :
- It got an outstanding presentation.
- Respect the comics better than the Disney slop
- Not Woke so far
- Gameplay more engaging and fun than OW
- 3rd person so you can actually seeyour out of price skin unlike OW
- Monetization plan good so far.
- Run alright on mid end PC
- Music and maps are cool but lack variety
- ALL characters available for free.
- Tons of freebies.

CONS :
- NO PS PROMPTS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... new AAA games. Stop putting Xbox prompts only.
- Characters forced duo missions are annoying cause no one wants to pick 'em
- No role lock, rankeds are terrible, people just pick 5 DPS and wonder why they loss.
- Massive framerate drop because of Dr Strange portals
- Options never save, game is set to English language, and high settings with medium shadows and everytime i play again gamerevert back to ultra shadow and French language it's so annoying.

Well, i don't know what happened, the game was alright in the BETA it just did not had content.
The sudden pull out of the shop was already telling of terrible things to come but the result is even worse.

Massive cash shop, manipulative goals and rewards.

Gameplay somewhat worse than the BETA it feels like playing a game on PS2 but on PAL in slow motion.
Everything is terrible now, there's 0 fun to have in this product.

Rough demo filled with tons of glitches and bugs.

Pros :
- Looks very good and run perfectly on mid PC.
- There's a lot of content compared to the recent DB games.
- The gameplay is fun and engaging.
- There's a good roster of characters.
- There's a lot of unlockables like in old games as they should be.
- Lots of easter eggs.
- Challenging AI.
- No anti cheat / Denuvo.

Cons :
- 1V1 split screen only in ONE single stage.
- Terrible Online.
- Missing characters
- No respect for the Dragon ball arc and GT.
- UI and menus very confusing.
- Terrible scenario making mode, lots of bugs, confusion, weird links, every words and key settings not in alphabetical order and impossible to sort... good luck finding Trunks in the 5000 words.
- Some Bugs.
- Not a lot of stages.
- 30bucks for the anime songs and some aren't even available or plays only few seconds of loop. A total scam.
- Story mode of gohan start skip at Cell where Vegeta ends at Buu saga... It's very bad. Overallthe story mode is a mixed bag of nothing. The what if scenarios aren't pushed to their potential and just give you 2-3 more combats.
- DLC practices.

Probably the best and last good open world game based on a new IP.

PROS :

- Absolutely gorgeous map design.
- The combat system very simple.
- The game allowing you to chain many different style of gameplay.
- Historically accurate.
- Great story and sub stories, well written.
- Music is good.
- Runs surprisingly well on mid tier PC.
- Good set of options and choices.
- PSN not required to play the solo game.
- Clever use of the wind beating all the AAA disgusting UI.
- Having the mongols speaking their language is very immersive.
- The only game where i actually used photo mode.
- The online is okay. Mini quests and Survival with RPG elements.
- The MAP objective done perfectly well, a lot of players complete them instead of skipping everything.
- The dialogues and acting is perfect in Japanese...... However....

CONS :

- The Japanese voice actors are very limited and earing Yuna being also quest givers, characters and peasants is really bad. It takes you out of the game.
- Can't skip Cutscenes the first time.
- The camera can get nuts indoor but it's rare.
- The map is beautiful but the one from last act, like elden ring being only snow gets very old quick.
- The game forcing you to change stances to fight every type of enemies.
- The stance button not always activating on press.

I was wrong, this is the worst beat 'em up, not the first game.

PROS

- Look great
- Fun to play
- Cool music
- The zombies are detailed andfun to destroy
- Gore
- Nice weapons and perks

CONS

- Lots of loading times
- Cringe DA
- Cringe dialogues
- Story is uninteresting like the characters.
- Force you to log on Epic
- The ending is terrible.
