After spending close to 2,500 hours playing DBD and watching it deteriorate in quality, I cannot in good faith recommend this game and would highly discourage you from playing it in its current state.

I removed my original review to write this, because I am so concerned with the current state of the game. I'm waiting out a penalty I got for leaving a match early, due to me getting bugged out at the very start and not being able to move. This isn't by any means a regular occurrence, but there are more bugs in this game than features. Some have been in the game for five years. It's very very very disappointing to see such a unique game get plagued by devs who clearly do not love it or listen to their community.

If you were thinking about trying the game out, please know that this is not a great time, with huge changes in the matchmaking and ranking system, along with new content being prioritised over game functionality. I have nowhere else to really speak my mind about this, so I have decided to rewrite my Steam review in hopes that someone sees this and perhaps at least knows what they are about to face, should they truly want to play Dead by Daylight.
