it's alright but not really something I'd outright recommend. I only ever play this with friends, and only if they ask me to play, but that's just me. If you're reading this review you probably already know if you wanna download it. plus it's free

After playing the game for a long time, and following along with updates, I just can't in good faith keep my review positive. I love Ludosity and think they're an amazing team and do amazing work, however, this game was under budget, released early, and compared to other licensed titles, was very restricted, and continues to be, in regards to the freedom the developers have to do things with the game.

It's really a shame because the game really could have been so much, but... I can't recommend the game anymore. I know crossplay and more characters are coming, but nothing will bring back the initial playerbase, and sadly there are and will be better options for most people to play. There is a small dedicated fanbase for this game, so if you're into that it's here, but for me and for most others, you're better off playing something else.


EDIT: They've added voice acting and an items queue for quickplay, but tbh this game just isn't worth $50 and never will be

just found out about this game and tried it. seems like it was fun, but the playerbase is very low like around 500 people now. :/

the dopamine of pulling off a combo you've labbed in a real match... yeah, it's worth the $6 i spent
