Over the years, I have played many games that have shaped me into the person who I am today. Stories that impacted my life and made me change my outlook on things, however, no other thing made by humanity compares to Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. To call Garfield Kart a mere game is an insult, it's not just an experience, it's the meaning of life, the reason to go on. Your life will never be the same after experiencing this masterpiece.

The graphics? Spectacular, beyond lifelike. You can see every pore on Jon's face, every hair on Garfield, every individual atom of pasta in the lasagna, screencaps from this game look 1-1 with reality.

The maps? Incredible. You do not get 1 or 2, but 16 maps! How many maps does Majora's Mask have? 1. How many maps does GTA V have? 1. Garfield Kart gives you the 16 most complex video game maps in history, replayable infinitely, with endless detail, secrets, and enlightenment to be found.

The sounds? Magnificent. Every scream, every beep, every splash, they send shivers down your spine instantly, and the music directly ascends you to the 4th dimension.

The gameplay? Perfect. When you play this game, you become one with Garfield, the controls are as smooth as breathing, There are at least 3 octillion years of content to enjoy.

Now, some haters may say that a kart racer game involving a beloved fictional franchise is lame, however, Garfield Kart's AI is so advanced, you will never need human players again. The AI is completely sentient, and is capable of feeling all emotions. I have been dating the Jon AI for 8 months now, and we're planning on getting married by the end of the year.

Garfield Kart: Furious Racing will change your life forever, with its flawless, well, everything. If you do not buy it, I'll hunt you down, so get it now. Instant 11/10

Alright so this is my first Steam review and I’m going to set the goals that I have for all my reviews inside this one. Let’s begin. Firstly I want it to be known that I love this game. This time last year, you could’ve told me that this would be just another generic Sonic 06 game but man, am I glad we’ve arrived to where we are. This game managed to pleasantly surprise me when I first launched it. The graphics are a bit outdated but they're still amazing. I played this game with two buddies with down syndrome and their experience was great. I’m a fan of Sonic. I’ve played some of his games and had fun doing so. I am by no means a hardcore fan unlike some people I know but this game will make fans very very happy. The game has its cringe-worthy moments; specifically with Tails' high pitched voice but it stands out to me because the ironic Tails voice is enough on its own merits. This is also the best video game Sega ever produced, in my opinion. I thought Shadow the Hedgehog was a better game but I had way more fun with Sonic Adventure and I loved Sonic more as a kid than I did anything else. Ryan Drummond's voice-acting in this game is top tier. It's like he stepped out of a time machine from the 90’s and started voicing the original Jaleel White voice. He’s the perfect Sonic voiceover we all expect but I feel like it’s toned down enough to let other characters shine. Ryan Drummond is fantastic as Sonic and in a Sonic video game, that's the character you would want to be good and he nailed it. Huge props and gratitude to the developers for listening to the audience and giving us an interactive open-world experience. I don’t always agree with the freedom to roam across a map but they loved Sonic and knew that going across different locations was great and they did just that. I respect that a lot. The game has some pacing issues for me and a mild amount of jokes fell flat. This is not a perfect video game but for a classic 3D-generated Sonic game that also appeals to fans, this is better than I ever could’ve expected. Purchase the game and see for yourself, it's even more fun when you mod the game with the original Dreamcast textures. Sonic Adventure will forever be a cult classic. Mark my words.
