As a fan of the original SH2 on PS2, I can honestly say Bloober and Konami did an outstanding job. I didn't believe they could capture the original harrowing feeling from the original, but they encapsulated it so well. It's different, but I think they built what the original Team Silent couldn't do with the older PS2 hardware.

They tell the story so well, and I was engrossed for days. My first playthrough lasted 12 hours just by reading all the notes, visual storytelling and newly expanded areas. I love that they still include the older areas as a little homage, playing the old OST whilst you see the older assets used in their original form.

Honestly a 10/10 game. I can't believe they pulled it off. Here's to a SH1 and 3 remakes in the future.

Graphics aside, the gameplay is immaculate. Reminds me of Arma, Squad, BF3 + 4. Gunplay is smooth and literally no bugs so far wtf

This games crazy, I was so bored at the start but now I can't stop playing it.

Your first ship feels like getting your first car. You gradually modify it, buy parts and upgrades (individual pieces and bolts bear in mind) and spend hours configuring it and tuning it. Then you have this piece of junk ship that falls apart but can go 150m/s.

Good game 7.5/10, devs are cool and update nearly everyday

Edit: they abandoned it RIP

Regarding to negative reviews, if you have below recommeneded specs, hate to break it to you, you aren't gonna run it at ultra with 60fps. It's early access, it was released less than 12 hours ago and the servers are gonna be iffy for the first few days.

Anyone with a decent computer - you won't regret it.

A true masterpiece, never seen a game like this before. Don't go looking through the reviews, it'll ruin the surprise.

Kingdoms is a game where you roleplay as a settler, worker, scholar, teacher, craftsman (and many more). There is trading, quests, building and you can create your own willages! It's not very immersive, graphics aren't 10/10 but there is some potential. It needs some performance fixes, a lot of AI bug fixes - no-clipping and overall buggy - and possibly multiplayer? These are just some suggestions. If you want an early access game which has some gameplay aspects, then be my guest buy it. After all, it's only £6.99.

7.5/10 - Needs more gameplay and performance fixes.
