Well, to be perfectly honest in my humble opinion without being sentimental, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinct perspective and without condemning anyone's view and by trying to make it objectified and by considering each and everyone's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I vividly don't have anything to say. Just a a little thank you to BHVR.

This DLC literally gave us the strangest thing ever in the game!
Possibly the biggest (unintentional I'd hope) scam from BHVR.

Let's start of saying that only true fans of the Netflix series know how painful those 2 years were, without being able to own Steve or Nancy characters in Dead by Daylight. Forcing us all including myself to start looking for overpriced codes in other marketplaces just to show off our basic outfits and make other heartbroken Stranger Things fans jealous. Not for long, because guess what? The DLC returned! It returned to point its finger at us and laugh at our defeat.

Who are The Survivors?
Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler are well designed and look like their characters from the TV show. Their lore is much shorter than other Dead by Daylight survivors. Steve and Nancy are two great survivors who have great skins, animations and voices. Their perks are mixed, ranging from niche to good. The perks fit their respective characters well and can be paired with other survivors' perks to make a stronger and cohesive build.
Don't forget Jonathan Byers is a bonus Steve character cosmetics in this DLC. But don't be surprised if the killer tunnels and camps you for choosing to wear "the bad guy".

What about The Killer?
The Demogorgon's appearance and animations are well made. The Demogorgon's shred power can be very effective at cutting off loops and ending chases quickly. Having an interesting teleportation system, the Demogorgon's Of The Abyss power can provide increased map pressure and awareness although is fairly easily countered by survivors sealing the portals. The lunge saves this killer from being mediocre as it is has a crazy length making it easy to reach survivors in difficult situations. The teachable perks are somewhat niche and have limited benefits in high-rank competitive play although can be effective incorporated into dedicated builds. They are however, great to slow down generators and make it difficult to get away from the Demogorgon and work on the generators. I would say Demo is very fun to play as or against, especially if you're a baby killer or survivor player. He is the embodiment of balance and is just a wonderful "puppy". Special mention of the custom music for the chase with the Demogorgon. How awesome is that!

And the map?
Hawkins National Laboratory looks good from a graphics standpoint. It is more admired due to the show's nostalgia and not so much about the balance of it. In terms of gameplay, the map is generally poor, with lots of unsafe pallets and risky window vaults. The map is good for stealthy killers and, to a small extent, stealthy survivor players. But it's a wonderful designed map with a beautiful and aesthetic theme (you can play the map without owning the DLC just like with all the other maps).

Is Stranger Things DLC actually good?
In my opinion, it's a strong yes! I do recommend it for definitely being the most intriguing chapter in the game's history and even if it is heavily diminished from a value of price perspective, I am glad this expansion is re-instated so that it can be fully enjoyed again!

Overall, it's a damn good chapter!
Stranger Things is one of my favorite DLCs in Dead by Daylight and it worth every cent of the 85 euros that I had spent (not wasted in my opinion) during those 2 melancholic years of my DBD experience. It is a masterpiece. Of course I highly recommend it. It is a necessity to have in the game if you want the best designed chapter with some solid survivor perks or... if you're just a massive Stranger Things dork like myself.

The good, the bad, and the sus.

Disclaimer: I play Among Us mostly on mobile app, but my review goes both ways.

Before I write anything else, I got Penguin Club vibes when discovering this game and somehow people found this review funny. It is NOTHING like it though. Hence why I edit my review.

Despite the memes making me mentally insane for a short amount of time, this game is fun as fart with a pretty decent community.

The mission
Most often when you play the game you'll be assigned with the role of a crewmate and your job will be to perform a variety of menial tasks on a spaceship or space station, such as cleaning vents, scanning cards or fixing lights, etc. The goal of the crew is for each crewmate to complete their assigned tasks and if they manage to pull this off, they win the game.

The goal of the so called impostor is to sabotage the spaceship and kill the crew before they expose his true identity. If you get chosen to play as impostor, you will need to be very careful, because if you get caught you will lose the game. The spanner in the works though, is that one or more of the crewmates are impostors and they are actually hostile aliens disguised as crewmates whose mission is to rid the spaceship, either by eating them without getting caught or somehow convincing other crewmates that the impostor is someone else and having them ejected out of an air lock. This is mostly manipulated in emergency round chat meetings and the trolling invades hard.

The gameplay is fun, because of its unpredictability. Unless you're the impostor, you don't know who is the murderer. But you can find evidence like dead bodies laying around the map or jumping into vents or doing fake tasking, to make sure that they are fairly getting "the sus label" (meaning suspicious).

Graphics
The graphics are simple but well done as it's a small game to download and so it barely takes space in your device. Each character looks like a funny colorful bean that is similar to the minions in Despicable Me movie and therefor it makes the customization easy. There are hats, suits and pets that players can purchase in the game's store, though some require real money. But no need to worry. There's plenty of free hats you can wear to distinguish yourself from others. Yes, you can use Donald Trump accessories too. Those who've seen the meme, know. If you don't know what I am talking about, please go ahead and check out my profile's artwork page. You'll understand.

For the parents out there though, indeed there is a knife.

The short, animated kill scenes feature the impostor sneaking up behind a crewmate with a knife in hand or snapping a spacesuit-clad neck with a quick twist. The blobby astronaut corpse can exhibit a splash of blood or a protruding bit of bone as a result. But it’s all done in a very basic, cartoonize style, and far from graphic.

The spaceship
There are only a few maps to play in Among Us but they're all of a decent size with plenty of rooms to explore.

The differences in themes and settings are welcome too. The game also overcomes the small number of maps by giving hosts plenty of game options to tweak to the point that some players have even created their own game modes. For example, one time I played a game mode called "Shift and Seek" where no reporting or sabotaging is allowed but the impostors have the ability to shapeshift. In this mode, the only way for the crew to win is to complete all their tasks in time as they have no ability to eject the impostor. Obviously, this requires cooperation from the players in the game to abide by the rules. This shows that there is enough love for this game and creativity amongst its fanbase for these variants of the base game to exist.

Important
Knowing the maps is very helpful. If players start talking about where a corpse was found and who was around the area at the time and you're not being able to answer the question, then it can push you higher up on the suspects list. When a whole bunch of crewmates start accusing each other of being "sus", it is resulting in many innocent players being shoved out of the airlock. It seems that the power of suggestion is alive and well, along with humans acting like sheep. However, sometimes being a newbie and not understanding acronyms and nicknames can make you seem suspicious enough to be voted off, even if you're innocent. Since determining who the impostor is involves a good knowledge of the map you're playing on and visual clues, such as whether two people enter a room and only one comes out leaving a corpse behind, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the spaceship's areas names.

10/10
In overall, I've played this game for long periods, watched YouTube videos about it, joined stream games and it's always entertaining! I recommend this game for the low price too. It's very fun and simple. It can destroy friendships too...

The game that managed to turn my blood pressure into a living roller coaster!
If frustration was an Olympic sport, this game would be the gold medalist!

Out of all the reviews I wrote so far, this one is probably the most serious one. After so many years playing Dead by Daylight, I can finally say that I feel so proud to be one of the first players who purchased and played this game since its release, back in 2016. I had experienced the old graphics animations with those creepy lockers that hunt my DBD memories. Those who remember, will relate.

Disclaimer: I main Survivor. But I do play Killer too sometimes.

Let's start with the Survivor role.
As a Survivor, you get the full experience that you get when you watch a thriller movie where the protagonist is trying to escape the serial killer. Picture this: you're a little ant that tries to outsmart a giant magnifying glass-wielding kid. You constantly get this feeling of being exposed. Imagine you as a survivor, sneakily hiding from a killer who is like the embodiment of a caffeine-addicted Olympic sprinter mixed with supernatural powers. You know you're in for a wild ride when you're trying to sneak away from a serial killer, while your heartbeats echo in your ears like a techno remix. Oh, the irony of trying to be stealthy while sounding like a dubstep concert! Now, don't get me wrong. I love a good challenge. But playing Dead by Daylight is like willingly jumping into a pit of hungry alligators and hoping for a warm welcome.

As a survivor, you have the free will to say screw you to your toxic, or not, team players or if you want to be a good Samaritan, you take control and go for a hook rescue. Now if someone is giving you a hard time in the game or even before the match starts, in the lobby chat, then you know who not to save if they get hooked. But they don't know that... and that is so satisfying! But be always ready for unexpected change scenarios. Don't say I didn't warn ya!

In Dead by Daylight there are yearly releases of new and well-known characters from famous movies, supernatural and fantasy world stories and even real life true crime stories where you can choose to play as those characters. This is the part that I really like in the game. They often add new content and events that makes me never feel bored or to want to stop playing this game!

How's the community?
Well, you hear lots of complains about the community of this game for being toxic and horrible... I have to say, just like every other online game, you don't really wanna talk to those players, because they're all just losers who will mess with your mind and tell you how much you suck or you camped or you did this and that and blah blah blah... You know how it is. It is rare to find kind players who give nice compliments but we do exist.

As for the devs as BHVR, it's a controversial situation here. While much of the toxicity is player-driven, some players feel the devs could do more to discourage toxicity via design, matchmaking, moderation or clearer community guidelines. Some others in the community believe there’s a pattern of “we’ll move on to the next update” rather than deep fixes for longstanding issues. Generally, there have been discussions about content creators being treated poorly when they critique the game. Some players give credits to the devs for having a fairly open-in communication (via streams, blog posts) and supporting under-represented groups like LGBTQ related content.

Dead by Daylight has an official Discord server that brings together a large number of players from around the world making it a good place for match-making, finding squads, and sharing clips or builds. Because it’s the official server, it often has announcements from the devs, patch notes, event updates, and official info which are useful for staying in the loop. Many players however, find that some toxic behaviour slips through or that punishment is inconsistent. Because the game is competitive and toxicity is somewhat baked in, the server sometimes mirrors the same issues present in the game. It is important to be mentioned that while the server does have rules, players often feel like they can’t express their honest opinions without being punished, especially if those opinions involve game balance, developer decisions, or frustration. If you’re someone who is sensitive to toxicity, wants very tight community control, or dislikes fast-moving chat channels, you might find some parts of the server a bit chaotic.

However, you don't have to talk to the community either. Unlike other games, Dead by Daylight doesn't have a voice chat build-in system so you don't have to worry about hearing a young child or a cry baby player yelling in your ears. Only way you can talk to players while in-game is through voice chat apps like Discord or via messaging if they're your friends too. Also, you can type in lobby chat if you're a survivor in the beginning of the game, because killers can't interact with survivors before the trial starts. At the end of the match, you have the opportunity to talk to all players in end game chat if you're a PC player (Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store). Console players don't have in-game text or voice chat, due to a combination of technical challenges in making text chat work effectively on a controller and the developer's strategic decision disabled it for consoles.

Now, let's flip the coin to the "Killer" side.
Congrats, you're now the overpowered baddie who's out for some "fun." But here's the twist: you're blind as a bat! Trying to catch survivors feels like chasing after squirrels on roller skates while wearing a blindfold. Oh, you finally caught one? Congrats. They've slipped away like an oiled-up eel, leaving you with nothing but a trail of tears. Of course, you will get those days where it will feel so satisfying playing the main character of the story. Yes, you are the one who decides who's out and who's... surviving under your commands.

So what's the deal?
Generators: These things are like elusive golden unicorns that require you to dance around them while hoping the killer is too busy snacking on other survivors. It's like playing a game of hide-and-seek, except you're trying to hide while fixing a car engine.

The maps: These trials are designed by someone who clearly believes that navigation skills are for mere mortals. Want to find your way around? Good luck, you'll need the map-reading skills of a lost cartographer.

And let's not forget the rage quitters. Ah yes, the heartwarming feeling of being left hanging when your teammates vanish into the digital abyss, leaving you with nothing but a bunch of generators and a killer's thirst for revenge. It's like throwing a surprise party and having everyone bail before you even cut the cake. After all, you will often come across these types of players in your DBD games who are either new and uninformed (not your fault) and who do things that the community considers "bad manners", players who are experienced perfectionist (as we call them "sweaty") or simply players who enjoy other's suffering. Gotta love those!

Overall, I recommend Dead by Daylight.
I’ve been part of toxic communities of other games, but this one definitely stands out as the most intense. I’d still rate it a 9/1o, although that score drops slightly because of Behaviour Interactive’s handling of the community.

Dead by Daylight is a masterclass in making you question your life choices. It's like signing up for a wild adventure, only to realize you're in the middle of a reality show where the producers hate your guts. If you're looking for a game to test your limits of frustration tolerance, this is the one. Just make sure to have a stress ball and a therapist on speed dial.

1. You are asked to think of a vegetable.
2. You think of a carrot.
3. She tells you, you thought of a carrot!

This game is a mind reader!

Dungeon Defenders was my first game on Steam back in 2013. I had a long break from this game, even though I absolutely adored it. Fast forward 6 years later, I go back to Dungeon Defenders and I accidentally press "Sell all items to the bank"... Whoever had to go through this feeling, knows what I mean.

Although I had lost all my items that day, I earned so much back, including more knowledge because the more you play this game, the more you learn. Basically, it's a game made for genius and I'm happy to be a member of this community.
