Tried out this game out of boredom, because the setting was interesting and it was free.
This game has no business being that good as a F2P game with no P2W as far as I can see.
I'm 30 hours in right now and loving it, and I don't even like survival games, lol.

I mostly played this game in multiplayer so far with Steam Remote Play and we encountered multiple game breaking bugs, most of which lead into crashes and can only be fixed by restarting the whole campaign or import a new character .
We had:
- Game Crashing when Player 2 enters the Inventory
- Game Crashing when Player 2 wants to change the active ability
- Player 1 getting into negative Gold Values. Game Crashes when going above around -1600 Gold.
- Ability Icons being falsely displayed in the inventory where it should show the Gold, making it unreadable.
- Not being able to navigate the Vendor Menu and being stuck on the "Sell" Tab, making it impossible to buy items.

We're only in Act 2 and started 1 time over already and now can't proceed again.
I haven't encountered any Bugs in Single Player, although I'm still in Act 1.

So I just finished Outer Wilds after getting it in the Steam Summer Sale and it was a blast to play.

Outer Wilds is kinda like a detective space adventure game.
You are a newbie astronaut from an alien race and it's the day of your first launch into space, yay!

But a strange event happens and soon you will find out, space is not only fascinationg, but also a dangerous and scary place - sooo, you'll probably die, 100%.
But then you wake up again, where your journey started and time starts over.

Yeah you heard right, in this game, you are in a time loop and you only have 22 Minutes, until everything resets again, only your knowledge, that you gathered from your expeditions will remain.

So what's the goal now?
Well, it's simple to be honest: Explore the galaxy! Let your curiosity guide you! Eventually, things will come together and you will find out, what's going on and how to deal with it.

Okay so that's about the story, I tried to be vague, because I don't want to spoil anything. Finding stuff out yourself is a big part of the game!

So how does the game play?
You got some basic movement controls, walking, jumping. When you're in a space suit, you can use a jetpack, which can boost you in different directions and always mind your current gravity situation.
You also got a little Spaceship, you can fly around the galaxy and use it to land on other planets.

Then there are 3 Gadgets that you have from the beginning of the game:
1. A Sound Locator, it let's you find fellow Space-Explorers, Distress Signals and other mysterious Sounds, far out in the Universe. Just follow the Source of Sound.
2. A Drone Launcher, it launches a drone which can be used to make pictures and see, whats on spaces that you can't reach, or to scout ahead. It can also be used, to test hazardous envivroment.
3. A Translator-Gadget. There is another species in the galaxy, which places Textlogs all over the galaxy. This gadget can be used to read those text-logs, from which you get informations like lore, tips, hints and points of interests.

Like I said, you have 22 Minutes until everything except your knowledge (Which can be seen in your ships log) resets.
In that time, you can visit one of the bigger planets or other curiosities in space.
Mind that the galaxy is not huuuuuuge like in No Mans Sky, you won't get overwhelmed, it's quality over quantity. Every place is unique and interesting on it's own.
For example, there is a Planet which gets destroyed by meteors and a black hole over the whole 22 Minutes. Another Planet is actually a twin planet, one full of sand and the other made of canyons. In the 22 minutes, all the sand will travel from one planet to the other, revealing more and more on the one planet, while simultaneously cover up parts from the other planet, making them unavailable to explore after a few minutes.
So the Galaxy is always changing with time and everything really feels alive.

But beware, I wasn't expecting this game to be scary, so I warn you beforehand ^^
Space can be really dangerous and there are places and things, that are just really weird and can make you feel uncomfortable at times.
It's the fear of the unknown, which is present all the time, especially in the beginning, where you have no idea about anything, so everything in the galaxy can potentially kill you, you just don't know how yet and to find out, you probably have to die once, and death comes slowly in this game.
You will always know 5-10 seconds before that you will die, which makes the situation often times much more scarier, but also let's you exactly know, what happened and how to prevent that situation next time (hopefully)!

It's not exactly a hard game, you can take your time and won't loose anything, but some tasks can be difficult to achieve and some puzzles need big brain power.
I am honest, I used a guide for one of the last puzzles, but I heard, many people had problems with that.
Other than that, almost everything was clear to achieve, after thinking about it.

I "only" needed 10 Hours to "beat" the game, but keep in mind, you can beat the game in 22 Minutes, nobody hinders you, if you have the knowledge how to do it.
On the other hand, it's surely possible to beat the game only after 20 Hours, it's up to you if you like more exploring, or to follow the hints you are givin to find the, I would call them "main puzzles".

Alright, I hope I could give you some insight about the game without spoiling much!

Graphics are beautiful for what it is, just take a look at the trailer. Graphic Options are also well customizable.
The Soundtrack is beautiful aswell. There are not that many tracks, but every track has a huge impact.
I especially like the main theme and the "you are almost out of time" theme ;D

But I have to say, I encountered some bug.
One bug, where the game couldn't find my controller so I had to restart sometimes.
One time the game crashed on selecting "Continue" in the Main Menu, but only once.
And one time I had no Sound ingame.
Except that controller thing, every bug I encountered only once.

Alright so if you are thinking about buying the game, escpecially now where it's on sale - just do it if you like exploring, puzzles and some space horror elements - the game is great and I highly recommend it!

I really enjoy both Resident Evil 3: Remake & Resident Evil: Resistance and although both games combined can't reach the excellence, Resident Evil 2: Remake has been last year, both of them are still very good games, with some minor flaws.

Resident Evil 3: Remake

The Main Game you get with this bundle. It's the Remake of the original Resident Evil: Nemesis and like the original, it's more action focused. So players of RE2:Remake keep that in mind, if you expect another game like that, you won't get it here.
What you get here is an action packed, visually stunning and polished RE game, not completely over the top action like RE6, it's more like a faster paced RE2:Remake.
You now get a Dodge Move, more ammunition, especially for high explosives and more scripted action events, in most of them, you have to fight or escape the Nemesis.
Nemesis is unlike Mr.X. He is not constantly stalking you in an area. He spawns at special locations at set times, is faster and deadlier than Mr.X and can use Weapons, like rocket launchers or flame throwers.
You also have to fight him several times as a classic boss fight in arenas and those fights are pretty cool imo.

After a while, the game changes the character from Jill Valentine to Carlos Oliveira. Carlos parts are compared to Jills pretty difficult, because you can't outrun most enemies and you just get swarmed by either many enemies, or a few really dangerous ones. And although you got a heavy arsenal of weapons and grenades, the number and quality of enemies kept me struggling at times.

Alright, now keep in mind that Re3:Remake is a really short game, first playthrough should be around 5-7 Hours, depends on how much you explore or take your time.
This game is also not as good as a remake as RE2:Remake. Many locations and events from the original are missing and although I don't mind the short playtime, if the game is fun, while playing I felt like they could easily implemented some more content, based on the original.
So what I wanted was just more of RE3 - It's still a great game though!

But keep in mind the shortness and missing locations. If you are just here for RE3:Remake, then wait for a sale I would say.
I think 60€ is still a fair price since you also get Resident Evil: Resistance, the Multiplayer Game, which I enjoy a ton right now.
If Multiplayer doesn't interest you, better wait for sale.

Resident Evil: Resistance is a asymmetrical Game where one player as a Mastermind plays against a group of 4 Survivors, each with special perks.
The Survivors get locked inside a scenario, where they have to escape within a time limit.
It's always 3 phases of one level. In the first, the survivors have to find puzzle pieces. The second one is about locating a special zombie, who drops an item with which you can hack inside 3 terminals to proceed.
The last one is about destroying 3 Biohazard Tubes by attacking them.

As the Mastermind, you control all Cameras all around the place and can switch between them. Use that + your map to locate the survivors, watch all the steps they take to complete their objective and do everything you can to prevent them from their goals.
To do that, you can spawn all kinds of Zombies, Traps, lock doors or set up Guns attatched to the cameras.
Also you are able to spawn ultimate Bioweapons like Mr.X or William Birkin.

You are also able to control most Creatures directly.
If you hit or kill the survivors, they get a time penalty and as a mastermind you win if the timer reaches 0 before the Survivors completed all objectives and they get bonus time by doing so.

This game is really enjoyable, especially playing as the Mastermind and a cool addition to the Resident Evil 3 Remake Bundle.
Beware that Queue times for this game for the Mastermind are enormous and unless they patch it, finding a game as a Mastermind is really difficult and that sucks.
Also the game has a steep learing curve. Unless you inform youself, what to do beforehand via tutorials, videos or free play, you will propably loose the first few games, but if you hang in there and learn the mechanics, you can wreak havoc upon the survivors as the Mastermind.

So in conclusion:

If you plan on playing RE3:Remake AND RE:Resistance, just get the game, it's worth it!
If you are just interested in either one of them, better wait for a sale, since you will be paying for the content you get of both games, otherwise you may experience a lack of content you will get here, at least compared to the previous RE2:Remake.
But still, you get great games, there is nothing wrong with the quality - most negative reviews are about the short length and because of missing locations/events from the original RE:Nemesis.

I'm really sorry, but I have to give this game a thumb down and I really didn't want to do this.

I loved the first Dreadout, which played like Project Zero, you had a camera and you got to make pictures of ghosts to defeat them. The game was really enjoyable, the locations were cool and the ghost were fun to fight.

Now we got Dreadout 2 and after playing this game at the GamesCom, I was hyped to see, how they wanted to improve on Dreadout 1, because the game now features melee combat besides the camera function.

Unfortunately, this game is not nearly as good as the first one.

Like I said, you now got 2 Options to engage in combat (The game decides, in which level you have to use either melee or your phone-camera).

First the Camera:
This is nothing like I remember from the first Dreadout. The first one was responsive and you are actually able to do well in fighting ghost,
In Dreadout 2, the hitboxes, where you can actually damage a ghost while making pictures are so extremely tiny, I even thought at one boss, he doesn't even have a hitbox and I had to do something else.
Ghosts are moving really fast in this game and the places where you fight them often doesn't give you enough room to maneuver, well okay, even if, you can't really dodge the ghosts, because they are too fast.
So you have to hit the perfect pixels, while the ghosts go circles around you and that's just annoying unfortunately.

At one specific Boss, I had to look for that magic pixel, where I could damage it for 5 minutes and I only beat it, because I glitched the fight, so the boss wouldn't move and I could savely search for that pixel. That's not good combat and it's nothing like I remember from the first one, it's a downgrade and that's really a shame :(

The Melee Combat:
The melee combat on the other hand was actually enjoyable at times! While not perfect, there is potential.
You get to use Axes or Knives at some points in the game and your cameras functions get removed except for the flash, which can now stun enemies, if you load it up and flash those zombie-thingys right in their face!
So yeah, you don't fight ghosts with axes, if there is melee, you are going to fight Zombies, Demons, anything touchable.
You get a 3-4 hit combo, aiming is pretty easy with the mouse, so hitting the enemy is fine.
You also get to do a backstab if you stunned the enemies with a flash, but I don't know, if it does more damage, than your standard combo. I also want to say, I really liked the melee combat animations!
It just felt good killing stuff with the axe :)

And sure I first had to get used to the combat, because it can be a bit tricky in the beginning, but the more I played, the more I liked it and in the end, I just mowed through the enemies... unless they gang up on you and don't ever get hit in that situation!
If you get hit, the enemies can actually stunlock you, because their attacks are faster than yours!
The best way to get out of a stunlock for me was to spam the mousebutton to go for a fast counter attack if you're lucky to get out of the stunlock, while the enemy is still winding up an attack, but most of the time, you are done for if you're not careful.
The Bosses, where you had to use melee combat are much more doable than the ghost bosses.
They may look random in their movement or kinda unfair, I thought so too, but actually you can outplay most of the melee bosses, but at this point just let me tell you - the bosses in this game ARE HARD - even unfair in most cases and yes I said you can outplay them, which doesn't mean, the fights are easy. If you don't know how to outplay them, god bless your soul.

The Enviroment:
The locations you visit all look cool, but still after playing Dreadout 1, I was expecting more. You mostly follow linear pathes, even if some locations look more open ended. But the locations as they are presented are well done and I liked the atmosphere of the places.
It all had a bit of a silent hill feeling for me.

The things you have to do:
Most of the time, if you are in a more open ended place, you are looking for a key to open a lock. The key and the lock can be replaced with any kind of object. But what I want to say is, you always have to find A at place B and bring it to C so you can get back to A to proceed.
If there are enemies involved, then it's most of the time a linear path you have to follow, while fighting those enemies, or evading / hiding from them.
Later on in the game, you will encounter a few puzzles. they are fine and I think this level, where the puzzles are placed is one of the best in the game, it got a fine balance between combat, exploration and puzzles.

But I have to say, many times in this game I was completely clueless, what I had to do to, because the game won't tell you, what you have to do often times. Sure I don't like handholding or big arrows showing me, where to go, like all of you guys, but sometimes it was just incomprehensible, like for example, one time, I had to look through one specific window (one of many) to proceed in the game and it only worked, while looking through the window while looking through the camera while standing exactly in front of it!
It just didn't worked, if i was just one step further away, I looked in there so many times until I've read online "yeah you have to look inside that window".
And remember, nothing in this game tells you, that this one window is special!
This was not the only part in the game, where I was kinda stuck or didn't know what to do, often I just trial and errored my way through.

The Bugs:
This is unfortunately a big negative point. The Game has some really gamebreaking bugs and although the devs are trying to eliminate most of them, even after the first patch I got stuck sometimes and had to reload a few times.
If you are really unlucky, you get a full lock and you are not able to proceed with your savegame, like I experienced it, so you have to start all over again.
But I think, they fixed these ones, but I don't know, the game looks so buggy, I'm still afraid with every door I open up, so that I don't get stuck again.

Conclusion:
I wished, the devs would have perfected one of those 2 combat styles, instead of giving us 2 combat styles, which are both kinda lacking. I would be totally fine with having a good camera combat like in the first game. This is one of the selling points for Dreadout! Instead we got a bad camera combat and a mediocre melee combat, which is just nothing special.

I think the story has potential, but how the ending is presented, it felt disappointed to be honest. I was expecting more.

Bossfights needs to be reworked! This can't seriously stay like this. At least make the Ghost-Hitzones bigger, that would fix so many things!

Right now, this game not really offers anything special to recommend it, and I'm really sad to say that.
Sure it has a creepy atmosphere at times and sure it can be scary, and the main protagonist if kinda cute, but the first game did all of what Dreadout 2 does soo much better IMO and Dreadout2 still has too many problems and bugs at the moment.

I still keep an eye to this game and I hope, I can soon give this game a thumb up, but not right now.
Maybe after some bugfixes, combat enhancements and maybe even content updates, this game can build on the magic, Dreadout 1 has given us.
But at this point, I want to recommend all of you who read this long review, to try out Dreadout 1, this game is truly a really good game and the reason, why I'm so disappointed with Dreadout 2, because I know, the devs can do better!

One of the best RPGs i've ever played!

Very good Story, awesome Soundtrack, enhanced game mechanics and new talent trees, which make this game feel different from skyrim, challenging difficulty, deep lore, characters and questlines, diverse open world, really good voice acting.

For me, this game is right up there with games like The Wither 3 or Dragon Age: Origins, considering this mod was made by such a small team.
