Apparently half the game was just removed at some point in 2020. So if you are a new player don't even bother.

Very reminiscent of games like Dragon Age Origins. It's well polished and as far as my playthrough has been, fairly bug-free. If you like story heavy RPG's then you'll like this. Give it a try. It's well worth the price tag.

After nearly 300 hours and participating in the Payday 2 community I have decided to quit. We all saw the signs of something like this coming yet we were all shocked. Honestly I can't believe that people thought the arms deal or black market or whatever the hell this update is called would be a good idea.

EDIT: They repealed the gambling BS so I'm switching back to recommending this game.
