I'm enjoying my time playing Destiny 2, and I will likely sink countless more hours into the quests, raids, dungeons, and catalyst farming that can be done in the game. But do not play this game unless you have someone who will introduce you to it. Someone who has been playing it for years and knows all of the lore, because you will immediately be lost without them. This is a world that has a ton of deep intricate lore that I am still learning, and most of it is very poorly explained unless you know exactly what to look for. And while forums and communities online are a good place to find that information, being able to ask your Fireteam Leader "What's this thing I found?" on the fly and get an answer is invaluable and almost vital to not forget every little detail. I would also recommend picking up the Legacy DLC bundle while on sale, as it unlocks a few of the campaigns to play, weapons to find, and quests to do. which will give you so many more things to sink your time into.

tl;dr - Destiny 2 is a great game for anyone who cares, and has people who care. Otherwise, you will just be lost. Without the DLC, the game will get boring fast.

A nice, short experience that gets your brain moving. I found the mazes to be challenging but not difficult, if that makes any sense. Like a test you studied for. Great game, I fully recommend.

Absolutely wonderful game. I have played a few hours so far, and I'm having more fun than I would with Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch 2. Please, try it out, and work past the bugs and frame drops, you'll have the time of your life.

Okay. I joke reviewed this game about 100hrs ago, and have since played a ton more. I genuinely think that Overwatch is in a great place, and that, despite what people say, the devs actually care.

Most of the negativity you see about the game is the monetization, skin distribution, and the balance. Let me dismantle each of these points.

Monetization in a F2P game is always going to suck. Look at Fortnite for example. There are four passes which you are expected to buy every few months, alongside countless skins with FOMO practices being put in play to make players buy products. Destiny 2 has players buy $90 worth of DLC to experience only a fraction of the story, with the first two entire years of content being made entirely unavailable to players, with a large portion of the guns being locked behind these paywalls, making this game pay-to-win. Team Fortress 2 has an entire economy worth millions of dollars, centred entirely around gambling, with Valve pocketing a huge portion of the profit. The point of this tirade is to say that Overwatch, comparatively, is not that bad. The reintroduction of lootboxes means that FOMO isn't nearly as bad, and the Battle Pass, while not a practice that makes many happy, still has a ton of things on the free track, including a free Legendary Lootbox. Unfortunately, Overwatch needs to make Blizzard money in order for the company to justify keeping it around, and despite that, they still give out so many things for free. Overwatch's monetization is one of the better ones.

Skin distribution falls under the same umbrella as monetization, since they need to release skins for characters that make them money. But even the kitsune-sized elephant in the room aside, there are always tons of skins for the other characters, the Overwatch 1 characters already having a wide catalogue of skins to choose from, and the Overwatch 2 characters quickly catching up. Unfortunately, they do still need to make money, so if that means we get 13 amazing Kiriko skins before we get a Venture skin, that is just what has to happen.

Balance. What a joke. These developers are trying their best to make a fun game to play, doing their absolute best to make each character fun. They make mistakes sometimes, but that is an unfortunate given. They are human. They will be wrong sometimes. But they have the numbers, and have been doing this for almost 10 years. They use the facts to justify every decision they make, and they have been clear on their goals for the game. The Overwatch developers are good at their jobs. And in my books, they have earned my trust in their decisions. Try to trust them, and have fun playing the game.

Overwatch 2 is a genuinely good game that me and millions of others have sunk hundreds and thousands of hours in, and would not continue to do so if the game was not fun to play. At least I wouldn't. So try it out if you haven't, and try again if you have. You never know, maybe that one hero buff, that one arcade gamemode, or that one new hero is the reason you learn to love the game. Mystery Heroes was that for me. So, take the losses, take the wins, and keep playing. The world could always use more heroes, and that could be you.

Every game has its flaws, and while Team Fortress 2 is not anything close to an exception, it is a masterclass on a game thriving in spite and often because of those flaws. If you're contemplating playing TF2, just bite the bullet, this game can run on a potato, and has the entry level skill of a Mario game. If you have fun, you could try buying a crate key, and maybe score some valuable loot, or maybe just a cool hat to wear. Anything is possible in this game, and it's up to you to get in and make it happen.

The Binding of Isaac is an amazing game, and a cultural phenomena at this point. When people think of roguelikes, they think of TBoI. And honestly, that is a deserved position.

The Binding of Isaac takes hundreds of hours to complete. Run after run after run, dying to the same few enemy types until you learn how to dodge and fight them, just to die to a slightly different enemy. This game is a lot of bashing your head against the wall. But when you finally learn how to dodge the basic enemies, and you stop dying before the first boss, all of that effort of the past two hours culminates in a battle you can- and you just died to Monstro. And so you go again. And again. And again. Over and over until you beat the first boss, then the second, then the third, and so on. Eventually you get to the end. The Mom fight. And using everything you learn, you fight and beat the gruesome encounter. That is when the game actually starts.

The Binding of Isaac is an amazing game. But it also takes forever to start to be that amazing game. So if you're willing to sit through and play ages and ages of dying to spiders, then pick it up. Otherwise, go find something else that can help pass your time.

tModLoader takes Terraria and makes it even more yours than it was before. You can customize every aspect of the game, as long as you have the right mods. Looking for a longer playthrough? Try out the Calamity mod. Looking for a new class? Pick from any number of them! Maybe you want some new pets and vanities? There are thousands, from your favourite series, and originals from the community.

This is Terraria, but more. If you like Terraria, pick this up. It's free. Try out a couple mods, and if you don't like any of em? You don't gotta play em. You lose literally nothing out of this.

Terraria is a game that I have wasted at least a thousand hours on across all of the platforms I've played it on. I would not trade that time with any other game. Terraria always manages to feel fresh, no matter if you're playing a normal world with no modifiers, a journey world where you just want a leisurely playthrough, or a master mode getfixedboi world where every step has to be carefully calculated, otherwise you die.

I would say that if you're even thinking about picking up this game, do it. You'll find something to do. It comes with its own personal modloader and everything, so if you don't think that Terraria on it's own is enough for you, you'll find a mod that is.
