Worth a shot. Weapon handling, dynamic pvp, short matches, competitive potential - it's all there.
PVE side is also cool with a lot of potential.

Will be looking forward to new maps and other goodies in the future.

One of the best tactical RPG ever created? Definitely.
- The music is exceptional.
- The dialogs are smart and witty, making you interested in the smallest sidequests.
- The humor is great.
I also love the amount of different abilities, the challenge on higher difficulty (classic/tactician) and I could go on and on.

The main downside is the turorial area (the very beginning on the ship). Don't be discouraged by it, I promise that everything gets better from there.
The inventory management can also be a bit odd at times and will require getting used to, but there are built-in mods ("gift bags" in the menu) to provide a better experience for the first-timers.
