Simply put this game is amazing. Yes its expensive, yes it has some rehashed cars/tracks from the first one (but they look much better in VR in DR2 than they do in DR1). Yes it has an always online career mode. Plus whatever other downsides people are giving for negative reviews. Anyways if you have a wheel and VR this game is a must buy IMO it is so damn good. I am currently using a Pimax 5k+ with a Thrustmaster/Fanatec wheel/pedal/shifter/ebrake setup and this game is worth every penny if you have a similar setup. I cannot speak to playing on a controller as I haven't tried it, but with a wheel in VR it doesn't get much better. I played a lot of DR1 with the OG Vive/Revive and it was amazing for its time. Not going to go into all the details of pros/cons of the 2 games as others have done it better already. After i got this though I have uninstalled the first one and will not be going back. I am on a 2080 Ti and this game runs super smooth in VR on near max settings on everything. I run this game with no HUD in VR and the immersion is so good. Just going to say that if you have a newer gen VR headset and a nice wheel setup you will enjoy this game. Highly recommend.
