It is a fun game. The gameplay and graphics are great, but the story and characters have been butchered when compared with the original. Also it feels like there aren't very many kinds of cars. Most of them are Ulver Airstream

Some of the character designs make my furry self very happy, like the Abomination, the big boar hunk, gargoyle, chevalier 😳

This game is basically a dice roll simulator. You can make decisions to increase your odds, but you can never have a 100% success chance.
It is quite fun though. I enjoyed Mud and Blood 2. Didn't enjoy Mud and Blood Recon. This one is something inbetween.

Is fun. Modding is easy.

It's quite nice. The unit variety is kind of lacking but that can be fixed with mods.
It has a random map generator and a map editor 👍
The combat is very well made 👍

It doesn't have the lizardmen from AoW1 👎

The graphics are nice although there is the occassional lack of polish like in the terra incognita effect which sometimes seems to jump suddenly. I think it's because it's a non-seamless animatiom overlay, but I wouldn't know.

The AI is fine I think. It knows how to do invasions. It knows how to focus down important units. But you will regularly outsmart it, although not to the point of you bullying it I think.

It has some nice quality of life things and the ergonomy is ok (could still be better though). The mouse controls are a bit annoying. Sometimes both left and right click perform an action, when previously you'd be used to using only right click, which might lead to accidents.

Overall it's good :)

This game taught me about handgun handling, psychotherapy and mental hygiene. 10/10 :p
If you've liked Receiver 1, then the sequel is even better :)

It's a fun game with a cute art direction. I believe that the negative reviews are too harsh, especially considering that you can get this game for almost nothing with a discount coupon.

To me it feels as if the developer really tried to make a fun game, they didn't do it for the money. That is something to be respected.

I keep flip-flopping with my reviews between positive and negative. At the moment I cannot recommend this game because it gets worse with every update. It feels like the devs are well aware of the issues but choose to ignore them.
But the amount of modern vehicles they can still add decreases, so maybe there is hope on the horizon.
